Just noticed the extra coins were killed just now. How many were saved from it for promotion/bounties and such?

And it's weird seeing a rich list with the top people having so few coins. I'm used to thinking in millions+ for coins.

None were saved because XBC devs are transparent and did as the public majority voted for full destruction. The only downside to not saving a little is that now we as a community need to donate to fund some future goals down the line. This will get easier once per coin value increases 10x the current, but the people who voted full destruction need to step up as well now and donate Smiley

I voted to save some for bounties.  Wink

Hopefully rich people do donate some. It would have been easier to have kept at least a little tucked away for promo/bounties/etc, but what done is done.

I put together an idea for a vector logo for XBC, wanted to get the community's opinion on it and if you all like it I can release the svg/ai file.

Of course XBC donations are accepted  Grin

like the idea and concept. Feels very familiar and clean, nothing too fancy or cluttery.

Serious can you add btc wallet for donation to future projects, many of us would part quicker with btc than our XBC. Thanks!

I notice the 'official' block explorer is stuck on block 174607.

Luckily there is a backup that I provided (2 days before the official one was available) that is up to date (currently block 174629)

http://xbcexplorer.cloudapp.net:2750/

It would be better if this block explorer was listed on the OP so people would know more about it.  I have messaged XBCPlus but so far nothing or received no bounties.  I know the guys in #XBC channel know about it as they mentioned it just now.

Hello people!

Armin22 from irc here, been here from the near beginning. I woild just like to say that you should expect something new from me and my partner in the near future Wink

I love being involved with XBzC and am loving helping everyone in the irc, even though i dont own hold any crypto yet, even xvc, which shows that im not a fanboy but someone who loves this coin as its different. Been quite some time since we have seen a coin with a not so rediculous coin supply xD

ENJOY YOUR STAY AND HODL

Think about all the good points of this coin:

*Solid & responsive Dev team who work hard & get things done fast
*Fast building, friendly community
*Rare coin which is hugely undervalued
*10% Interest
*Good name (easily recognisable due to the Bitcoin brand)
*Destroyed the remaining "premine" as promised
*Great logo
*A lot of good things to come!

10/10.

Poloniex was dossed because of the XBC panic buy?

Yeah. If you guys saw a panic buy because of the CMC listing I bet that was it. I was not on Polo at the time it went down.
The XBC block explorer seems to be DDOSed also or having a speed issue with the Rich list.

So I guess that is a good sign for value of XBC but annoying for Polo and XBC to deal with the DDOS.

It could totally be something else but the CMC listing was just hours ago right? Like 2-3 hours ago?
Same time as Polo going down. That would also give a DDOSer the time to move BTC in to buy coins
as an added effect but that is pure speculation of course.

Seen this before with other coins.

So this could be a trick by a whale to buy up the coins? Well that is sh-tty for anyone who doesn't have their XBC yet but I just hope it isn't someone hacking and trying to steal them (although if you steal a majority of the XBC out there what value would it really have anyway in the end...)

WOW this is a good sign if we are being ddossed all over the place, XBC is a force to be reckoned with. You won't see me doing a noob panic sell once POLO opens..I will probably need to upload more btc!! Nice to see more of the Community here and the IRC is packed daily..also hello to Armin too!!
