One Italian team was eliminated yesterday and we might as well see another leaving today, talking about Juventus. After that poor display against Manchester City in their last group game I feel Madrid will have a better chance of getting something in this encounter because if I'm to be honest I'd say Madrid are different from what we saw them play in the first group game but since after that their performance changed starting from the game they played with a man down and the chances are for good and I don't think Juventus can stop them when they start running.
Real Madrid can be seen as the favorite but it doesn't matter, without the odds I'd still go for Madrid to win this game, as for the Old Ladies I think they look too open to be penetrated too easy like their defenders are another version of that of Inter Milan...let's go for a 3-1 in for Madrid.

I want to feel that this is a problem but when looking at Inter's current condition with the transition and problems within them and of course by looking at their performance in the group stage I actually think that this result is a normal thing.

It doesn't mean that I don't want to admit that they are a great club but in other conditions we must realize that in the end Inter's current condition is still not ready enough and they still need time to adjust to be better. Their performance in terms of dominance and ball possession does look quite convincing but on the other hand their readiness for counterattacks is also still very minimal so that in the end Fluminense managed to make this an advantage for them.
For Juventus in tomorrow's match it is clearly still a bit difficult but looking at their goal productivity and with Madrid's current condition even though I still lean towards Madrid but I still expect that this match will have a lot of goals.

Two of really unexpected results. I had predicted Inter vs Fluminense to be a competitive match but never had I though Inter would lose this way. The results of the match were indeed surprising and also quite entertaining for everyone. The quality of play shown by both teams was truly extraordinary. I will now no longer even want to underestimate any team. Because even a team that is very much a favorite can actually lose to a team that is actually not that much of a favorite in that match.

Well Al-hial if they continue to maintain their quality maybe they can go further. But I'm tired of being too optimistic about a team. Because sometimes a team's performance can change quickly. Hey, football fans can easily forget the outstanding performances of players because of a single mistake or losses.  This set of defenders helped Manchester City qualify for the Champions League after an initial poor run. In football, unexpected results like this happen, and we should learn to take them in good faith. After all even the European champions lost to a Brazilian side in this tournament.  But I would confess that Manchester City defended very poorly.  Congratulations to Al Hilal, they have shown that the Saudi Arabian League is an emerging force in football.

Well, it looks like almost every prediction I saw in this thread for yesterday's matches ended up being wrong. I placed two bets. One of them was btts and the other was the combo bet involving Man City against Al Hilal. For btts bet I was worried Fluminense might be the team that couldn’t score, but ironically, it was Inter who failed to do this, so that bet was the lost. The second bet actually paid off, but I never would’ve guessed that Al Hilal would beat Manchester City.

If they can't win against Saudi club due to their poor defence. I'm expecting them to do the same in the harder game than this. This is not their first mistake. They have been so poor in defense last season, and was quite lucky qualify for UCL.
