WOW WTF.... You kept 75M StorjX despite only selling 36M in crowdsale so the premine is effectively 80% ?

36M crowdsale
75M dev fund
75M com fund

That's FAR FROM 15%. You have to scale this down. Makes no sense to print 2 Billion coin and only sell 20M and still keep 15% of the original amount as dev funds. Are you guys shitting us ?

A great solution:
Distribute a part of the community fund to all the users that have posted in this thread until now.
Back up the community!

cannot agree more!

So if I'm not the only one who thinks like that let's make it happen...

There have been people elected to community positions already with discussions of an official community organization on storjtalk.

I didn't know that there are two thread topics for Storj. Any link to the other thread?

Here you are: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=702602.0
It's just a more coin-specific announcement. This thread is talking about the project in general and that thread is about Storjcoin X (SJCX).

I don't understand your priorities.

Local boards are great for people who only speak one language, but is that really the case with your community at the moment? Your project is very technical in nature and thus attracts people who are intelligent and technical minded, such people usually speaks at least a few languages on top of their native one. I understand that you would like to reach out to all people of the world, but I just don't see your otherwise fantastic project being at a stage right now where that should be a priority. IMHO you really ought to put the limited resources of your small (not meant in a negative way) community to better use.

We have two parts of our team (technically three but I'll generalize): the community portion and the developer portion. The developer portion is focused on the technical side, i.e. actually creating the product and services. On the other hand, the community portion is focused on growing our presence over social media and the forums, so language-specific subforums is a great thing to have for our project. It may not seem like a good use of resources if this is what the the developers were doing, but integrating different languages into our community is a key part of a community volunteer.

People are selling at loss below the IPO price. This reminds me of maidsafe when it hit the exchange and all the weak hands that were in for instant profit poured all their coins to the exchange and drop the price to half the IPO price eventually.

Why not contact bter and btc38?

because until DriveShare is released (at least just the beta) there is seriously no point in having SJCX. Exchanges aren't really going to go out of their way to add a coin with no real value atm.

Just put an ETA in your head...like say 2 months until DriveShare beta is out. To save you all the headache.

Well we actually have reached out to a lot of exchanges, Bter and Btc38. Many have shown interest, but one or two like Bittrex have voiced concern over listing a Counterparty asset due to certain risks that come with it (I don't know what the risks are).

They told me it's too much effort.
