Once we realise the original Dev is not here, we can all finally move forward.
No point crying about him, or wishing things were different. They're not, he's gone. New leaf, new page, new chapter. We have some good people here and once we have a coder to accept working on Cinni, the price will be back up along with a positive forum again.

[/quote] For simplify if you don't know how to this, follow this step : 1) create a folder in your system like c:\cinni 2) download this 2 files from wallet.cinniblock.com and put into c:\cinni 3) launch cmd.exe if you don't know where is use search function of your windows operating system and type: cmd.exe click on it 4) inside prompt of ms-dos type: c:\cinni\CinniCoin-qt.exe -salvagewallet Remember before start this process to backup your wallet.dat file and put in safe place. If your wallet.dat don't work, restore your wallet.dat backuped.
3 post above, digit explain how export/import private key, follow it.
Only one thing I add, if you don't have coin control features like you use mac wallet version without it, use listunspent command from console inside the client to check your balance of every address in your wallet also change address.
You can access to console with : Click on "Help" menu option , choose "Debug Window", in the debug window choose "Console", in the console type:
listunspent (to show all your address balance)
dumpprivkey youraddresshere (to export your privatekey for this specific address)

Luckily managed to get out again  Wow is this thread dead or what? lol hardly anyone posting anymore Time to dive into <1k satoshi to seal the death of the coin. It was a great run tho! This coin made me a ton of money in the past. good luck yall. Yes it's over, even Crypt's implementation of ANON is taking a lot longer then expected, if CINNI hasn't even started on this then it's a dead coin with no use. The worst issue is the wallet , people have lost coins because of it. I must admit it started off as amazing concept and I hope the new dev can bring it to life again. If we want this coin to survive, we have to move on WITHOUT Cinni. If you wait for him you will be waiting a very long time. Cinni is full of shit. There was no Anon. He has pretty much abandoned the coin. His occassional post here has offered no news, no real support and ZERO ideas! We move ahead with our plans, and forge a solid coin and growth as a community!!! Yes a takeover!! |

I have not heard anything from rynomster yet (at this point the only contact info I have for him is his bitcointalk account where I sent him a private message).
I think I have an idea why some people keep having a syncing problem. If I am right it should be fairly easy to fix. Our wallet features are part of what makes CINNI so attractive so I want to make sure everything is working perfectly before moving on to new features. I will come back again by this weekend with another status update.
Updates are really appreciated - didn't someone previously offer his email contact info? I sent a PM to that person but he has not provided me with an email address for Rynomster (or any contact info) at this time. Therefore I will proceed without him. In terms of the syncing and staking issues I cannot find an error in the code itself. For syncing new wallets one big issue is the blockchain size. While 15 second block times are great for merchants/consumers seeking quick confirmations, the CINNI blockchain continues to grow very quickly. As usage increases, this will only increase over time. Depending on your OS you may want to check to see which other programs are running in the background and disable them for a faster sync. If you are running an older computer or on a slow internet connection it will take quite some time. One option would be to download the (most current version) of the blockchain (from a trusted source). In this thread there appears to be one person who is kind enough to update it regularly. In the long run, this will will make it harder to attract new users (who do not have ample hard drive space/fast internet access) to stake their CINNI coins instead of holding them in an online exchange (too much centralization is not healthy for any PoS coin). This is not a CINNI problem. It is a problem for all coins that have large blockchains. Something like Electrum (for bitcoin) could be very beneficial for many coins, but is not easy to implement (and has never been done as far as I know for any PoS coin). For staking I am not yet convinced there is a problem (in the long run). All wallets compete for staking and sometimes a stake will fail to be confirmed by the network because of this competition. Over time, this variance will balance out. Yes larger wallets have a higher "network weight" and smaller wallets may take longer to confirm a stake but over the course of a year everyone should get about 3.5% interest (assuming everyone is staking). Min stake age is 3 days and max stake age is 100 days. If anyone has an address they have been staking (with all coins within this age parameters) for several months with interest varying widely from 3.5% please let me know. I believe that given more time all addresses (properly staking) will approach that interest rate over time. Receiving a stake in you wallet that is not confirmed is NOT a problem. Your interest will balance out over time based on your confirmed stakes not your unconfirmed stakes. I have asked a friend to help me with anon transaction implementation using the EM protocol described in the CINNI whitepaper: http://www.mediafire.com/download/49w5yo2cy7my4xr/Cinni+Anonymous+Transfer.pdfIn theory it sounds fairly simple to implement, but I can assure you that it is more difficult (to implement properly in a trustless, secure manner). Our EM platform is secure. We need to make sure our anon platform is secure as well. Expect 1.5 to 2 weeks (estimate not hard deadline) before anon transactions are ready for beta testing.
