Sure it is reduced, just check the block explorer => 35,000 Karma reward.

It's just that while rewards dropped ~75%, the nethash also dropped ~75% (from 3GH/s to below 1GH/s), so profitability for the remaining miners is actually similar to before. There's still 75% less coins overall though.

I agree but there wasn't enough people (or the right people) thinking the price would go up to make it a self fulfilling prophecy. Given how anti climatic that was I think the price will drop a little before recovering again. The price of Karma should go up easier now than it did before with less miners dumping. Hopefully not too many people wanted to sell after the reward change expecting the price would go up.

In hindsight, if you think about it logically, that is exactly what should have happened given how reactive alt coin miners are to changes especially on smaller alt coins. The miners moved in 6 hours to completely adjust to the new hash rate.

Thanks for directly quoting this, I was taken aback a while with the figures, then I realized He was referring to the TIMES of tips done through the APP, not the AMOUNT of tips given. Multicoin Tipping App is a real ally for us Karma community members
