I've tried various parameter settings for this with no change, the only things I have not tried, is changing any of the GPU frequency settings, or upgraded the AMD drivers (still on 14.4). Although Pallas post shows stock should be able to hit around 18Mhs.

As for the .bin file, although I gave it a try, I did not expect it to make any difference, as that bin is for the Hawaii based GPUs, where as the 280x is a Tahiti card.

Just make sure to use ccminer 1.2 and the algo "dmd-gr", NOT "groestl". Then you should be yay-ing just fine

It should work on Tahiti as well (it works on 7950, so...)

It should work on Tahiti as well (it works on 7950, so...)

I'm not sure what the issue is then, since new .bin files were being created even with your .bin in place, I decided to change the name of your Hawaii BIN file to match that of the file that was being created for my parameters, it does appear to use it, as no new .bin files are created, and only your one remains, but it also did not affect the hashrate either.

I also have a 7950 I can try it on later, to see how that fairs.

All orphans as the blockchain will reject them until 577850 ... wasting electricity

Not exactly correct.

Orphans are blocks that get accepted by the pool's wallet, but later rejected by the network (because someone else found the same block earlier).

In this particular case, the pool's wallet is not accepting these blocks ever, so it's only the miner's own interface that say's "BLOCK" -- it's never seen by the pool itself.

I do not believe shares can be rejected by http://dmdpool.digsys.bg with BOO, if they are valid. Most likely the miner is not using Diamond compatible stratum protocol. In this case, one could use the pushpool interface that this pool is running exactly for that purpose: just replace the -o URL with http://dmdpool.digsys.bg:3345

The pool's stratum and pushpool interfaces are working correctly, as miners are finding blocks and the wallet is dropping these on the floor. This will continue until block 577850 comes. The pool has been enabled again "earlier", because I don't intend to stay late at night for this very purpose and I am confident many people would like to start mining ASAP.

PS: The irony being that most of my miner rigs are down for one reason or another.

Quick question.... I am using WESTHASH for diamond multipool payout because I am on west coast USA. I take it as long as I am using my diamond/multi address assigned btc address as user name, this should be ok? I just can't track stats or get tickets I'm guessing.

u cant see stats and u will get limited tickets

there 2 ways to earn lotto tickets
one is with hashrate visible in wafflepool/nicehash stats
second is each day btc arrive at ur btc deposit address u earn a ticket

basical any btc payout mining can be used together with dmd multipool
