45 Musicians To Accept Anonymous Cryptocurrency Monero During Christmas Holidays

https://btcmanager.com/45-musicians-to-accept-monero-during-christmas-holidays/

The privacy-centric cryptocurrency project Monero announced that 45 musicians and bands, as well as five online retailers, will be accepting monero (XMR) as a payment method throughout the upcoming festive season. The broad move to adopt monero is the result of a secret GloBee fundraiser which kicked off in late October.
According to a report by Forbes, musicians that will accept monero include Lana Del Rey, Marilyn Manson, Dolly Parton, Sia, Mariah Carey, and G-Easy. Even popular bands such as Slayer, Motley Crue, Anthrax, and the Backstreet Boys are partaking in this initiative. The complete list of artists accepting monero this Christmas can be found here.
This new-found acceptance of one of the most popular anonymous cryptocurrencies as a payment method is part of the Project Coral Reef initiative that was launched by Monero’s lead developer, Riccardo “fluffypony” Spagni, and entrepreneur Naveen Jain.
Regarding the acceptance of monero as a payment method, artist G-Easy said in a statement:
“As cryptocurrencies become more popular, it’s important that my fans have choices when it comes to how they buy my songs and merchandise. Given Monero is one of the safest, most secure and most private cry...

I see Monera makes a big leap towards mass adoption by solving a real pain points associated with world of crypto.

Hi,

Please, offer me a good monero wallet for Android.
I did not find any information on the official page of an Android monero wallet.

Is this portfolio sufficiently reliable? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=xmr.org.freewallet.app&hl=bg
Thanks.

at the momment, monerujo is open source and on google play store
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.m2049r.xmrwallet#

to my knowledge this is the only trustworthy one (i am sure there are some fakes and scams on the play store)
see reddit thread supporting this as legit wallet

@damncourier,
@Millionero,

I've already installed monerujo!
Extremely thank you guys!
I wish you good luck!

One more question!
Is it possible to have the same wallet on both the desktop and the phone?
If the Android wallet selects a "Restore wallet 25 word seed" option, will there be a conflict with the wallet of the computer that is 0.11.1.0 Helium Hydra?
The idea is what I see on the computer, as well as being able to see it on the phone for more convenient transactions.
Thanks.

Some people swear by Claymore's Cryptonote miner for mining Monero, but I found that 'SGminer-GM 5.5.5' (now morphed into GatelessGate) gave a better hashrate and lower power consumption.

Claymore's Cryptonote Miner: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=638915.0
SGminer-GM 5.5.5: https://github.com/genesismining/sgminer-gm/releases
GatlessGate: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1612329.0

This is my .bat file for mining with SGminer, you may need to tweak the --rawintensity, -w & -g values to suit your cards.

Code:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_MAX_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_MAX_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

sgminer -k cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://pool.minexmr.com:7777 -u 4AKksH23v1L81TindxA1ZU6fPQTdbnxiVi3kjBKQTd6wMK7idtAbdNV4CE2s7TjUgYXpF8qFp7LK4cqoqMYkh2rrJiY1QC6 -p x --rawintensity 896 -w 8 -g 1

Hello there, I am trying to import a wallet.keys (from an old simplewallet client) into the latest linux gui wallet.
However I get this error:
Code:
Couldn't open wallet: std::bad_alloc

Any hint? Thank you.

edit:nvm i imported it from the seed.

In summary, the Intel Management Engine and its applications are a backdoor with total access to and control over the rest of the PC. The ME is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy, and the libreboot project strongly recommends avoiding it entirely. Since recent versions of it can’t be removed, this means avoiding all recent generations of Intel hardware. details https://libreboot.org/faq.html#intelme --- https://tehnoetic.com/laptops --- https://store.vikings.net/x200-ryf-certfied

Judging from the schedule in the near future we will see the growth of the coin. Well, if they add COIN to Bitfly exchanges, I think we will see x2.

I’m pretty sure Surae and the MRL gang is on the case. I remember at the NY meetup him basically talking about (I’m paraphrasing here) how he inherently doesn’t trust the algorithm because it was created by the bytecoin devs.

Wasn't the algorithm created by Nicholas von Saberhagen, and the bytecoin devs just implemented it in C? Besides, how much of the original C code are we running nowadays anyway? Less than 5%, isn't it?
