what about the other privacy coins with possibly better features ? someone has looked into them as well ? Don't stick blindness to 1 coin, as there are maybe other good privacy coins as well.. possibly even better....
If you were to do some research for yourself, you would understand that there currently are NO viable private currencies other than Monero, with ANY feature set. Go read something(and not just propaganda ). Spouting ignorance and then accusing others of wearing blinders. That's rich. To be clear with you guys. One can never be succesfull starring blind to 1 coin and stick to it for the rest of your life. This is a forum where people can and may share opinions with eachother. Ofcourse there are more coins like Monero with een better technology (on purpose i don't mention them here as this topic is for Monero only) but again, don't feel attcked by someone, if he just ask a question, and certianly don't protect a specific coin with your soul, as anyone can invest and invested in it too... as far as you want to know the other coins, and you are obvious unable to research yourself, send me a PM (ONLY you, as i won't reply to others). Regarding to the word "propaganda" i feel sorry if this word comes on your mind as i now would believe you live in a hostile and anti-democratic area. Best wishes! End discussion, as there is none.

Hello, Would it be possible to add support@btcpop.co to a mandatory update email list? We want to provide our users with as close to 100% wallet uptime as possible and in the past we have been late on some mandatory wallet/chain updates resulting in loss of user deposit/withdrawal ability or lost funds. Thanks Btcpop Team

Thanks Btcpop Team There's currently no mail list, but I'd advise to simply check the reddit ( https://www.reddit.com/r/monero/) once a week. There'll be a general information thread stickied (well in advance) if there's an important scheduled protocol upgrade coming.

Did they get dumped on yet or is there still time to get raped? Went to move a few coins on poloniex.
In balances it shows all my coins, but in the individual breakdown it shows 0 XMR.
Also it says all my coins are on an order.
But view my open orders shows none?
Anyone else had this weird thing?
Treat it like windows. log out, clear cache, reboot I don't think there is any exchange that isn't full of glitches right now. For instance, polo won't let me set limit orders, and if it does, it deletes them shortly after. Have you verified your legacy account? I believe this is one of the things they mentioned would happen to the accounts if you didn't upgrade before they shut them down completely.

Only happens during higher volume.

Ohh, absolutely not! I was just thinking that they are going to be causing exactly what their site fucks up on to legacy accounts so people will probably just think it's their site bugs when it's them actually doing it. Lol I personally know of some folks building large mining farms just to mine Monero. They believe Monero is the future. Are there any target prices for Monero with regards to valuation?
We have an entire thread dedicated to just that. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=753252.0;topicseenwhat about the other privacy coins with possibly better features ? someone has looked into them as well ? Possibly Monero will have better privacy features than those hypothetical non-existent coins. Is that a possibility?

I still haven't found another exchange to use, any recommendations? they are either all KYC or scammy afaik. I'll probably just say fuck it and just use shapeshift and hold when I get back in. Looks like the days of having fun playing the market are over.

I'm saying that because bfx blocks U.S.ians and seems to reject any attempt to connect from an IP in this country. But it's one of the best exchanges for active trading, maybe the best.

Does anybody knows what could be a problem with my transaction. Yesterday I sent 8 XMR from Cryptopia To Binance. I see on Cryptopia that transaction was completed but I cannot see the it in the explorer nor on Binance. I used both deposit address and a deposit payment id for the transaction. I checked it on https://moneroblocks.info

Rep Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=381041If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?

It's a service run by a Japanese university and it has volunteers running servers all over the world, so you can pretend to be from Poland or Thailand or almost anywhere. Just run a dns leak test before you try to use it for anything critical. I've used vpngate.net, but I never tested it for leaks. They support Windows, IOS and Android, but not linux. I'm pretty sure a competent computer nerd could roll his own for linux, though.

I still haven't found another exchange to use, any recommendations? From november I'm at Binance.com, seems fine to me. You can trade without a verification, 24h Withdrawal Limit: 2 BTCThe second option for me is Livecoin.net, I like it, specially their vouchers (for withdraw fiat), have an account almost two years, there is no mandatory verification, there is no limits

There is also Cryptopia that allows you to trade without KYC, its an option. Maximum withdrawal on any coin is 5000 NZD worth or around 3.6K USD per day.

I think that Monero will remain the most popular coin among private coins. Sometimes I use this coin and I really like its technical side. It seems to me that this coin is almost an ideal coin for the future.

Voucher? do you take it to a counter somewhere? Yep, I'm using one of this exchanges to cash out it into my local currency (UAH).
