Are there partnership between Mondeo and universities to make high quality educational courses on block chain, especially privacy concerns and solutions?

No, none that I am aware of. ... Yet? Tongue

Bitcoin has taken off minutes ago. I have a feeling that, this time, bitcoin will come closer to $6k.
Now, is it right time for the turn of altcoins, including Monero?

Nobody can give you financial advice and never follow anyone. If I have this choice than I would like to keep my holding in XMR as per my point of view it has same potential to explode even it could give us chance to make more bigger profit.

I am not 100% sure, but I think you will need to go through process of "connecting" Ledger and Monero GUI again and that's all. Then it will work fine again. Funds are not at risk.

Please see my response here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/aahg2r/a_security_question_about_using_ledger_with_gui/ecsmblb/

Thus, in case you delete the Ledger Monero wallet files, you ought to regenerate / recreate them.

Hopefully it's sufficiently clear now.

I have more than one wallet.  In the GUI wallet is there a way to always have the name of the currently loaded wallet displayed?

The wallet name of the currently loaded wallet is displayed on the Settings page on the Log tab.

So I have to go to this page each time I want to know (or to be sure) which wallet is currently loaded. It seems not optimal to me but I suppose most users only have one wallet and use accounts.

Thank you!

Correct. Do you have any suggestions for improvements then (with respect to displaying the wallet name of the currently loaded wallet)?

You're welcome.

Hi,

When I invoke  monero-wallet-cli to order a transfer is there a way to avoid pass the password to it without using a "--password" command-line argument?

Sometimes the wallet exits with an error such as "Error: Not enough money in unlocked balance" or "Error: daemon is busy. Please try again later." but the exitValue, which is the "$?" shell pseudovariable, is always 0, just as if it always succeeded.  Is it possible to have it exit with a 0 only if it succeeded, and in all other cases with an errorcode specific to any error?

Thank you.

Do you want to skip the password requirement upon sending a transaction?

No, I dont, as the protection offered thanks to the password is useful. I want to be able to invoke the CLI wallet and to provide the password without having to put it in an argument, because it is less secure as other users may have access to the active processes informations, including CLI argument.  May I put the password in a file, and instruct monero-wallet-cli to read it there?

As for the exit code I want to be able to invoke monero-wallet-cli from another program which must be informed if monero-wallet-cli encounters some error. I may use RPCs but this is not convenient from a shellscript.

[1] You mean some kind of config file for monero-wallet-cli right? If so, you can create a config file and add the --config-file path/to/config/file flag upon launching monero-wallet-cli.

[2] I am not entirely sure what operations you intend to perform here. Therefore, it may be better to ask your question on the Monero SE:

Not really. If possible, best to simply let it run overnight. Also, are you using an SSD or an HDD?

Just wanted to make it known that coinmarketcap.com site sends users to monero.cc which redirects currently to getmonero.org when clicking the website link for the monero landing page if it wasn't already known.

As much as you can get without having to dip into it for at least 6 months is my current guess.

The real question is how he is going to afford the XMR in the first place if he is a poor dude?
