I am not FUDing  It might be as obvious as "dumpprivkey" is in QT is to me now to some people, but it's still a learning process. Anyways thanks for providing the tip to the community. I feel you. It looked very complicated to me at first, too. I've never seen an easy Monero wallet guide for newbies. I don't blame anybody, but this is one of the reasons why people hesitate to use Monero. I used the Monero website, there's a tutorial with pictures. https://monerotalk.org/t/bounty-create-a-useful-tutorial-on-how-to-setup-monero-closed/13That was my first experiance with anything besides QT and wasn't that hard. It might look a little intimidating but really besides getting the blockchain synced it should only take about five minutes. Hopefully there is a more intuitive wallet in the future but for now once you spend a few minutes with the tutorial it gets the job done. |

I mean normal for win 32 from devs. The developers of this coin were the major sponsors of that GUI wallet project. There is nothing wrong with third party wallets. Having multiple wallets to serve different audiences is a good thing. All of the major wallets for Bitcoin are third party, including Electrum, Multibit, Mycelium, Blockchain.info, etc. |

I wrote a user guide for the MoneroClient.net GUI https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=683365.0 wallet a few months ago, its a bit out of date now but noone's complained that it is too complicated  My more general "Idiot's Guide to Monero" is still a work in progress, I have to summon the strength to deconstruct ring signatures etc into language the average user can understand, without incurring the censure of gmaxwell for misrepresenting basic principles. Thank you, I was looking for a guide to get started with the GUI wallet. |

I accepted as he was the first to ask but for all others, the contract is 1 year max. For longer, we'll have to negotiate. Also, no more than 5000 XMR per person (negotiable but I don't recommended to send that much money). |

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's. This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".
