So how much VRC do we need in total to get this deal done? I've seen a variety of numbers floating around here. Also where are we at as far as donations go? I know we have at least 100k VRC coming from altcoinUK never ever

[15:15] <jl777> i think VRC devs can become spokesmen for SuperNET
[15:15] <jl777> I am anon so no public appearance
Vericoin has a anonymous dev now? What about regulation. what about being the face of a honest virtual currency, with integrity, leading the way toward regulation? Certainly this is a massive blow to that vision.
Certainly taking steps back, instead of forward. am I the only one with a WTF moment right now? My god I didn't realize the level of greed displayed in this community.
I didn't know of any community members who supported a anon dev. but now.. I guess its cool?
So VeriCoin, stands for integrity, honesty, and a developer who chooses to tell you about how awesome they are at making money, how rich they are, but yet, stops at telling you who they are, or giving ANY accountablity.
I tell you what, I wont feel sorry for anyone who promotes this deal and gets burned.

I know we have at least 100k VRC coming from altcoinUK we need 500k in the escrow in 24hrs to show the community is behind it... the rest someone will explain but its genius! going to bed now for real lol great job guys pulling together!

Yes, I think that we all get your point of view. You have stated it a number of times and even threw in some colorful language to emphasize your point. But, I still don't understand why putting in 10% to SuperNet means the end of VRC. Why can't they continue what they are doing (and have planned) and still be the developers of the coin? If SuperNet is bad and the thing goes to zero in a huge flameout, won't the VRC coin still be around? Is it the future sovereignty of VRC, in case SuperNet is wildly successful, that is the problem? I really don't get it. Stop whining about your alleged mistreatment and make your case. Otherwise...please stop.

He was just making a suggestion. VeriCoin has so many other things going on aside from this too. Just hang tight. The Devs are awesome. They won't stray from the original plan. Mass adoption.

Yes you have the right to voice your concerns and you can vote by not putting anything into the escrow. Instead of the bickering and whining, do some research on this new Dev, SuperNet, and other coins he has worked on.
I am researching more, So far it is checking out.

just catching up. so vrc is selling out to another project? because of a little market manipulation? granted it was a prolonged and determined state of market manipulation. but you guys really dont think you could fix this with new developments and without selling out? the price would never go below 8k. that was the bottom.
i dont know what's going on, but i supported vrc on the current dev team. i dont know anymore. cant say that im happy with this. but maybe im missing something. cant really be arsed to read the thread to find out so ill let the market tell me whats going on.

My two cents..... For a long time I thought the two coins that would compete for second place to Bitcoin would be Darkcoin and Vericoin. Dark because of the master nodes which will work to pay investors, always a key to drawing money in, and Vericoin because it strives to connect with the masses. I gave Veri the edge in potential because its a numbers game and mass adoption gives you numbers! Then I came across BTCD and researched. I now think as far as development of coins goes, BTCD is the trailblazer. Just my opinion, but James manages to combine skill and vision with the ability to deliver. I realize he comes across as egotistical sometimes, but as it has been said, it's not ego if you can do it, and so far, he seems to deliver with everything he promises.
Who knows if a union will work or not, but James has said he wants to further the entire coin community, and I know Veri devs want to. This seems like a good opportunity to try. Wanting your particular coin to succeed is only natural, but if they all work towards adoption, there is a lot more potential for more of us to win down the road. It is just my opinion, but I do not see a great deal more risk in trying this than not, especially given the amount of time it will take for Veri to come up with further development. It is always easier to work toward a goal with more resources, that sometimes requires a little risk, but hey, that is the name of this entire game here!
As a little side note, on the theme of entire coin development, another player is here in Quatloo. Don't think it will be a Veri or BTCD, but it is a great concept and another piece of the puzzle for advancement of all coins. Check it out if you get a chance. (If you haven't figured it out, I would really like to see coins become mainstream. I think we are watching the future unfold and it is Veri exciting!)

Actually it's a pretty big deal. Basically VeriCoin stays exactly the same as it is now… with the exception that inside of the wallet there will be an "Advanced" tab where users can join a decentralized exchange, marketplace and each coin will have it's own unique decentralized "application" that can be shared. So the front end is going to be simple, very user friendly etc but deep inside… there will be access to an entire 2.0 platform called SuperNET. I'm still skeptical but as it's escrow… I'm not worried about my 50k VRC donation. If it pans out… HUGE upside. If not… we get our VRC back. Aside from this… VeriCoin is hard at work on LOTS of other things so this is really more of a BONUS than anything else. Jay Jay

I don't know anything about supernet and the things behind. But if someone tells me that he pushes the value to 100k or more and if not he gets nothing that's a deal I cannot refuse. Again: wether James is successfull or we get our money back. We can only win!
Regards, Michael

James said he is hand picking the ones he wants - or something along those lines. So far it's NXT, BitCoinDark, BoolBerry and VeriCoin I believe.

Ok i think the main problem here is just most people dont understand and know the concept and idea of supernet. Vericoin doesnt get sold or whatever. If by later in the evening theres nobody who already explained everything i will take it on my shoulders and elaborate everything - im just on the top of a moutain atm lol.
Tbh i could just not explain, buy and donate but i believe in the vision of james that crypto will unite everyone in a big open and civil community without a dog eats dog mentality. Sharing and caring is the motto
