Hey hey hey fellas! My first post!

Just wanted to address some of the hyperbole and negativity that I've heard about - coming from these here parts.
I'd especially like to speak with two users in particular - "Barabbas" (I apologize if I spelled your name wrong) and "AltCoinUK".

To you two I say, "Hi!". Just have a few questions for you.

1. I was wondering, I suppose, what issues you two were having with VeriCoin specifically?
2. Are you forming compelling arguments and bringing constructive criticism - if not… why do you feel the way you do about VeriCoin?
3. Do you two currently "hold" VeriCoin? If not do you plan on investing in the coin going forward?

These are genuine questions as i'm sincerely interested in knowing why you two hold the positions you currently do atm.

Maybe a quick summary to catch me up on the back story and how everyone reached this unfortunate place?

Appreciate your time and hope we can start some meaningful dialogue!

oh are you talking about veryveriviral? cause i can vouch for him, he's a good guy and actually more of an asset to vrc, I follow him on twitter he has the same name @veryveriviral , follow him ! great guy!

No, of course not   I meant Veryveriviral is wether alcoinuk or barabass with a new nick. Asking barabass and Acuk for a meaningful dialogue  doesn't sound like he's pro VRC.

I'm sincerely attempting to apply some sort of diplomacy here as well as figure out how all this came to be.

I hope Barabbas and AltCoinUK really do respond to my original post with some genuine input on their behalf and we can begin a healthy discussion about why they feel the way they do about VeriCoin.

Ideally I'd also like for others to refrain from "jumping in" as that kind of behavior only results in a downward spiral and nothing good ever comes from it.

Ok Jay Jay, so I have to apologize. Sorry! But it's senseless to ask these guys for a healthy discussion. Other users have tried (me included). They are absolutely not willing to accept arguements. They are simply just negative or hired from somebody to talk VRC down.

I dread coming to this forum now. 
It used to have contributions from devs and was generally positive.
Now it seems to be some sort of non-violent ethnic cleansing site.
VRC is rapidly losing credibility and needs resuscitation. Feeding trolls improves the chance they will win. Please hit ignore and don't respond. Go beat up a verifluffy pillow to vent your rage. It's therapeutic and nobody gets hurt. Probably wasting my time saying this.

Dude their dislike for this thread and its people goes way beyond the reasonable.
Dont waste your time their Either Paid to do this or their running another agenda.
They have turned this thread into a cesspool If u read back ull find that around 50% of the posts in this thread is them bashing everything and everyone.

Not sure what's been said these last few posts that has caused the back and forth schoolboy arguing but it's pathetic. I think AltCoinUK makes some good points and I think he makes some bad one's. I chose to have a discussion with him like an adult and address his points I disagreed with and he challenged me on what I was saying. People are always going to disagree and it's healthy for Vericoin.

There definitely is some fanaticism on show here and it's obvious. This is 100% because of bagholding. Yes I said that awful word no one likes but it's true. I'm a bagholder and I bet 95% of people on this thread are. There's no shame. You have to accept it and stop being emotional over it. If you invested more than you can afford, too bad, you won't next time. If you didn't then stop acting immature and start talking about how we can realistically improve the coin to recoup the investment. As to why we are bagholding is a sensitive issue but for me it's down to the following reasons. Getting into bed with scum like wizrig, pnosker pumping the coin on twitter which is incredibly unprofessional, hyping announcements that are crap, no development updates for weeks. lots of reasons. Their should be at least a weekly blog post somewhere to update the community on the coins progress, you know an offical channel of communication. Not getting passed tidbits from the inner circle over irc and on here.

I'm hanging on until I break even, then I'll assess the situation as to whether I stick around or not.

I so agree with most of what u said but UK has Intentionally or not helped turn this thread into a playground fight.
We agree on most stuff Bad communication , bad choices , insane hype like the negotiation with dev that will push this to 100k and then say we cant say anything more i mean Wtf ..
But the way Auk and B are just picking fights with everyone its horrible for the coin its Price and everyone involved.
And people are sick of it as shown be the personal attacks calling him gay etc . i mean what the hell would that have to do with Anything even if he was.
But thats the level we seem to have arrived at, give me a moderated thread with Daily or Weekly Updates have one guy hang around Irc Twitter and listen to vrc radio and Post the RELEVANT stuff on that moderated thread.
