Prediction: Dev4 is David Zimbeck who will bring BlackHalo to Vericoin.
Who else is there it could be? Peter Todd offers consulting at $50 an hour?
No though we have been in talks with him.

No though we have been in talks with him. Who both of them? Either way it's good to see the Calibre of the potential dev4 your looking for is high.

I will start preparing pictures of rockets anf the moon As a not so tech guy which would assume to be the future avg. user black halo was a fail. One I'm a Mac man so I can't get it. Two I have to download a program I don't trust crypto that much to keep downloading programs especially from third parties. Three if I want to use a tablet as a POS contract I can't with black halo. Now I'm not saying the black halo idea isn't a good one it's just not very functional.

Going into detail with 'dev4' on the technical aspects, it's very intriguing and potentially very VeriExciting stuff. Discussions ongoing...
If you bring him or a new developer there will be full disclosure of who he is?? He will not be the wizard of Oz?? He would make an announcement himself about his working relationship with us. Veri Nice...please keep us posted! See Doug? This is the EXACT type of "communication" that is NOT needed and is counter productive. As a matter of fact, it's pure gossip. Nobody cares how interesting you think it can be. Nobody cares who you have talked to. Nobody SHOULD care, that is... You are discussing a possible working relationship of whose principles we, stakeholders, are fully aware already, even in details, there's only ONE THING to communicate, when and if done: The hiring -or not- of Dev4 and his ALREADY enacted -or started to enact- contributions. THAT'S IT. The rest is just unnecessary fluff.

I just won an antminer S3 from the mining pool that I posted about a week ago or so! If you have SHA-256 rigs, they still are giving away 1 a day until end of August, and a 12.5% bonus using PPS method.
Just a friendly heads up, you can accumulate a nice amount of bitcoin right now with that bonus. I wonder if the VeriPool is taking advantage of it? I see that multipool.us is switching its bitcoin mining operation over to it as well.
mining.bitcoinaffiliatenetwork.com if anyone is interested. Might be worth checking out.

[...] How do you know Gavin didn't work for months on that yellow paper? Give Doug a break, I talk to him frequently on IRC and he is working hard on multiple things at once. I know what your going to say "He needs to Prioritize!", while I do agree that there should be a steady follow of releases it doesn't always work out that way. One of the other coins that I'm invested in is Viacoin, which has dropped ~70% in the last two weeks. As expected, some of the Viacoin community members are getting "fidgety". The more vocal among them are pointing worriedly at the decline and asking why there haven't been any updates (ring any bells?). btcdrak has an excellent reply, which I think can be applied to VeriCoin, as well: The big problem is, the reality of it, developing technology for a coin is not a linear progression. It's not like baking a cake where you can predict with high degree of success exactly when it will be ready. Software throws up unexpected bugs, or you get unexpected issues that turn out the be more complex than you thought. You discover bugs in upstream libraries which take time to resolve. This is all very time consuming. Coinmarkets are always looking for the next thing, and the next hype, meantime we've got our heads down working so maybe it doesnt look like stuff is going on.
great post +1

Because we are in such a power position, right? Perhaps you should think a bit about who needs who in this situation? Just a thought...

Oh I don't know, what do you think? No releases or news of ANY significance in 9 weeks and price more than 80% below the highs and, more importantly, with nothing to look forward to and no sense of direction whatsoever... does it look like something that you could call "power situation"?
