is there any limit - how many altcoins can join the supernet ?
James said he is hand picking the ones he wants - or something along those lines. So far it's NXT, BitCoinDark, BoolBerry and VeriCoin I believe. exactly 256 Coin Limit

drkman, back when the total amount was 500K, you'd mentioned matching donations from your own funds. Now that we're back at 500K (at least for the "Proof of Interest" phase), do you still plan on matching donations?
If he is bagholder in the irc then he is doing it atm, but its 10% adittional Big thanks for it That's me and if you donate while I'm in the IRC chat tonight, I'll keep the 10% match going. I'm in there right now.

Is it confirmed that VRC bought their way into SuperNET? Or did James agree to help you guys sometime later, nothing to do with SuperNET?

no we are funding 500k vrc right now to show james that vericoin has still a strong and united community which is worth to work with. alot more details in the 2nd part od the irclog on page 788+ but he will help coding a unique feature similiar to btsx in short

As earlier on the page someone listed VRC as a coin in the core.

At 11:30 AM I like James' work, I follow him at the superNET thread since day one and while I am not fully agree with him software engineering approach and how he implements superNET, one thing is sure, one way or other he will get done superNET ... he is the guy who can deliver, he is what vericoin doesn't have and therefore that's what we need here.
...
If the community willing to come up with the 10% 2.6 million VRC I am willing to contribute more than my share and I will put 100k into the deal.
3 hours later, at 2:50 PMIRC Chat Log
[14:51] <jl777> i do more than just code
[14:51] <jl777> i fix communities
...
[14:53] <jl777> a fractured community cannot succeed
[14:53] <thph> @effects can u please make some rules for this escrow ?
[14:53] <jl777> the barrabas
[14:53] <jl777> the buy4crypto
[14:53] <Guest18609> exactly
[14:53] <jl777> the altuk
[14:53] <jl777> get rid of those three
2 hours later at 4:40 PM I think altcoinUK may surprise everyone here and may take the lead as our single biggest SuperNET donator/supporter!
DrkMan, This must be a life time opportunity for me ... to invest when the investee has personal issues with me, he specifically doesn't want my money, he wants to get rid of me from the process ... and he feels it is important to publicize how he feels about my investment. I have to get my head around this lifetime investment opportunity :-))))

I've donated over 12% of my holdings to various VRC Community projects and been a vocal supporter.
The fact ij777/James chooses to remain anonymous is a Deal Breaker for me. (Even if I could justify the other points of the deal on principle.)
But it wouldn't matter even if I was fully behind the deal I still wouldn't give anymore VRC.
I've advocated a 10% community wide committment to the VeriFund since the beginning.
In my mind I've given my share of VRC. If my stash was much "Grander" and considering "economies of scale" it might be I would give a larger percentage amount. But I have what I have so the reality of that will never be known.
But That's Just Me.

So how is this Supernet any different to Bitshares, which has a fully functioning working product. This Supernet is just vaporware by some anonymous dev. If he had any real belief behind this project he would put his professional credibility on the line and release his identity. As it stands he won't be getting a penny off of me as all I see is a glorified pumper.

If it gets added to the SuperNET core, what is to stop James from making other communities also pay to get in.

Kasman. It's a no lose situation. If our coin doesn't appreciate in value massively from this then we own him nothing and all coins are returned to the senders. You only sell the coins to him once he's proven to provide real value and price appreciation to Vericoin shareholders in which case you are already up hundreds of percents in profit.
How long do we wait till we know if its successful? What is the price that is considered successful? Everyone says to give which I don't mind but details are sparse to say the least.
