It seems like nobody like "dumpers" except me.
I will give you a real example, after the IPO of NXT some initial stakers sell their coin at such low price just want more people can join the community. The price is 1BTC=1000KNXT.Just because they sell their coin at such low price then more and more people can buy NXT at such low price. That's good for the NXT's development.
I have to say people shouldn't hate "dumpers" dump their stake(coin) at low price because they just do the right thing, they just spread the stake(coin) wildely. We should hate "dumpers" dump their stake(coin) at high price because they will harm the market.

People don't like dumpers out of fear for their investment. They worry that dumping en masse will greatly reduce the value of the coins they hold  Cheesy
I think the natural clash between hoarders and dumpers is healthy. There is no need to force a coin along a particular path. I believe that if the coin is worthy, it will come out of this initial struggle stronger and more resilient  Smiley

Feel now develop the content of the substance is more important, rather than have to round up 3000 users here.

Don't understand why you are so adamant on distributing free stakes to people who have no interest in ORA.

If 3k was the initial target you should have waited for it before distributing stakes and having a market price established.

Again, by topping up all current stakeholders accounts, or burning the rest of the assets, everything stays the same as it is now. The value of stakeholders accounts remains the same.

Releasing new ORA onto a market that has already been established is kin to the US GOV printing money using it themselves and making everyone else pay for it via inflation.

 Huh

ORA distribution option: Megashira1 - version 2

1. Burn the remaining assets
2. POS Block Rewards

Burning coins at this stage imo is not a sound plan. Its more a rushing in. Distribution on later part was already announced even before the assets were distributed.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=620518.1200

Relaks man. We have not decided. It will be decided by poll. But what we are doing right now, brain storming on our next step. Is that wrong in your opinion? We want the community to discuss, present their ideas and then from the good plans we decide on our next move. What is the point of rushing at this stage? decision was made that there will be no "top guys" deciding the moves. We are now experimenting on leaderless community experiment. I understand this will be a bumpy road but this phase must take place. It will shape our decision making process in the future. Please keep in mind, stake distribution is not the only decision making process. This is also happen in the future for other elements like bounty awarding, development, other projects etc. As a community we must able to see both at positive view and negative view. We do not rush making a decision as every decision will put this coin at stake.

Cheers.

Who's being adamant?
As mentioned plenty of times ITT, 3k turned out not to be a realistic target. That's why we decided to end registrations at a specific date instead. No one seemed to have an issue with this. On the contrary, people understood and also just wanted their free stakes asap. Obviously this realisation and change of plans led to a lot of assets not being distributed (for the time being), which everyone knew about. How to distribute the leftovers was to be discussed later. So it really shouldn't come as a shock we're having this talk now, what we should do with the rest of it.

Has someone suggested them auctioning off some stakes to fund development? If they raise a decent amount of BTC maybe they can hire someone or some people to work with nioccoin.

I think they are making this more complicated than it needs to be. The simplest way to go would be -- original stakeholders get another stake -- only if they didn't sell off the majority of their original coins. Roll Eyes

I believe one of the poll options would be distributing to the existing stake holders. We are discussing what other options we should include for the poll. How complicated is that to you?

I second that , there is nothing complicated with considering other available options and healthy discussion over that .

Thanks for the heads up  Smiley You've saved me unnecessary hassle. I would've missed that, I very rarely use the 'check for updates' feature  Roll Eyes
