Thats because stakes issued in nxt. How do you know who is legit voter in Qora voting system?
Just let everyone to vote. There are people who don't have Ora yet but they are willing to buy it. So they might have right to vote too. (Whats with qora fans calling ora stupid?, this is not a first time i have noticed).
I wasn't calling Ora stupid I was calling weird or even stupid using Nxt instead of Ora parent's voting system. Makes sense. But we do not want to make any wrong decision right now. Rest assured we are carefully planning what we are doing at this stage. Regarding on your request to let everyone to vote, i will make sure this is considered as well. I understand your concern. I don't think it's a good idea to allow people who've got nothing to do with Ora to vote. I mean anyone can say they're willing to buy and abuse the voting system and it's not fair for those who actually own Ora. It's like asking people from France to vote on who's gonna be president in the US. I believe only people holding Ora, whether they've bought their coins or they're original stakeholders, should be allowed to vote. If anyone who is not interested in ORA or is not ORA holder , is allowed to participate in voting , then it can lead to manipulation and it will not affect those who don't hold ORA whereas it will adversely affect ORA holders.

Opinions can be expressed. Decisions will be by the community. After reading most of the thread and discussions on voting, my own suggestion is to hold off on voting for quite some time. This will allow a fair voting system to come to the fore. More importantly it will also mitigate some risks of pump's to your currency, as people will know their are more shares to be released. They could also be held as a kind of quantitative easing, released fairly during price-tag rises to further distribute supply and ease the market back towards a fair average. Finally, you do not know when you may need such shares, you may produce a novel form of distribution where Ora is integrated in to existing communities, who's members may require a stake. You may also find that stake sizes can change over time, as adoption grows, perhaps issue a fixed percentage of the current remaining stakes each time, so that issues get smaller in line with adoption growing. So I suggest that you hold off for as long as you can, demand and times to distribute will appear in the future. Best of luck with the project, it's one of the few I am watching

^ Now would indeed be a great time to get involved if you want to be an early contributor. Remember people, we got 25% (that's 250,000,000 ORA) in power bounties to give away to people who'd like to help make the project a success.

This is true. I like voting on the logo, but I'd like to see a little more progress towards an actual thing.
