I'm testing this miner and its using more power than xmr-stack for only ~50h/s more.    Anyone else noticed the same?

yeah seeing the same but im using cast xmr , what hash rates are you getting ?

for my underclocked 470s i see 700 h/s 1100 core and 1925 mem ,
for my underclocked 480 i see 800 h/s 1100 core and 2100 mem

on cast i see like 660 and 730 respectively , but less power use

what arguments to make Cast work on rx570's ?

I'm seeing 800h/s on average using claymore 1080gpu/1950mem @825mv  ~60w (gpu-z)

On the 290's I'm seeing 780h/s 1000/1100 89w (gpu-z) on average but with high spikes to 120w

Dear Mister (Sir) Claymore,

will there be a chance for a new version (10.3?) so that i can use my bulk of Hd7850/r9 270/hd7790.
It would be very nice!

At the moment the 'Pitcairn' cards throw a lot of errors (miscalculated) and for the bonaire there is no asm anymore in 10.2
So i stuck  at 9.7 with most of my cards ;( .

Have a nice day

Rig runs fine on the latest version of ether dual miner.  But when I run the latest version of cryptonote I get this:

08:46:29:818   abc   GPU 4, GpuMiner dk2a failed -4
08:46:29:827   bd0   Job changed, drop current round
08:46:29:836   ac0   Job changed, drop current round
08:46:29:855   9c0   GPU 3, GpuMiner dk2a failed -4
08:46:29:897   a30   Job changed, drop current round
08:46:29:904   a28   Job changed, drop current round
08:46:29:927   a28   GPU 3, GpuMiner dk2a failed -4
08:46:29:935   a44   GPU 3, GpuMiner dk2an0 failed -4
08:46:29:945   a30   GPU 3, GpuMiner dk2an0 failed -4
08:46:29:958   a9c   GPU 2, GpuMiner dk2a failed -4
08:46:30:149   ac0   GPU 4, GpuMiner dk2a failed -4

I tried setting -h 1024.  I also have virtual memory and environment variables set.

Set your VM to a minimum of 4GB for each GPU (prefer 8GB if you have 8GB cards). This miner is very memory heavy on VM though it uses less when running. I have 6 8GB cards in each rig and set the VM to start at 16 and max at 50. Works fine then.

Thank you kindly, this worked.  One gpu has low hash rate (~250 h/s vs ~750 h/s for the rest), and not always the same one, which is odd.

I just found all my miners offline due to segmentation fault (core dumped) even with a failover pool this is happening again...

This sucks, I almost think it's being triggered on purpose as it only happens right after I fall asleep or leave the miners unattended. I lost like 10?+ hours of hashing, fuck.

edit:

OK I figured it out every server and all of nicehash has gone down, my failover server was the nicehash eu server and it looks like it went down with the usa server,

I'll use miningpoolhub.com as my failover now as I know they use cloudflare.

I've been mining on nicehash, I think this problem is just with them or perhaps ssl related? This is a miner breaking issue....

anyone can help my make start. bat file for monero mining in nanopool? i use poloniex wallet with XMR address. thanks.. Huh

Open poloniex, click your xmr deposit wallet, copy the wallet address.

In the file epools.txt add at the bottom:
Quote
POOL: stratum+tcp://xmr-eu1.nanopool.org:14444, WALLET: ffdsfsdfsfsfdfdfsddddddddddddffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff ffffffff.mycomputer, PSW: x, ALLPOOLS: 0
POOL: stratum+tcp://xmr-eu2.nanopool.org:14444, WALLET: ffdsfsdfsfsfdfdfsddddddddddddffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff ffffffff.mycomputer, PSW: x, ALLPOOLS: 0

In the file Config.txt, delete everything in there. Must be empty for now.

On your start.bat, add this:
Quote
GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1
GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
NsGpuCNMiner.exe

Now run the start.bat

thats it.

Everytime you need to add extra pools, add them to the epools.txt
Everytime you need to add arguments (set temperatures, voltages etc) add them to the config.txt

One mistake on my post. You need to set setx behind the parameters like this:

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

Mining Pool Hub can work like Nicehash, just learn about Auto Switches and Auto Exchange mode.

Hey Claymore,

Since Nicehash got hacked to death (probably an exit scam) your miner tries to connect to a dead server to mine the dev fee and chokes to death itself.

How much slower is the -NOFEE 1 option? Am I really going to lose all the bonus I get from your miner? It's broken now dude, for everybody.

Edit:

Yeah the miner is way slower, I lost a lot of hashing power with -no fee 1.

Cunts at Nicehash stole my coins too, fuckers.

sorry, noob here

everytime I start mining it's always shown :

Quote
Wrong Monero wallet address, "-allpools 1" option will be enabled automatically, read Readme for details.

then the program work, i try to check on pool the hash is detected.

here is my config :
Code:

It's telling you it can't mine the XMR dev fee on the ETN pool so it's switched on the -allpools 1 option so it can connect to either an XMR pool or Nicehash. Unfortunately Nicehash just robbed Claymore of all his dev fee coins and shutdown their servers so that when Claymore's miner tries to mine the dev fee on Nicehash it crashes.

This being the case you'll need to add the -nofee 1 option to your configuration, you'll mine quite a bit slower and Claymore won't get any dev fee coins.
