Like I said in an earlier post - I worry about the upgrading of this miner because of all the possible RX cards it will potentially add to the XMR network - making the difficulty skyrocket just like it did when they all appeared on the ETH network, but I guess it's inevitable and Claymore wants/needs his dev fees - he doesn't have to worry about difficulty, he just wants as many miners using his software as possible.
You can already mine XMR with the miner just fine. I have ZERO issues with 5 x RX480 cards. Also you're forgetting you can also use Wolf's XMR GPU miner, and also SG-miner (windows and linux). You're worried about nothing really. Does XMR respond to memory over/underclocking much? It doesn't seem to matter if I have my 290s at 1125, 1250 or 1375. Or my 380s at 1425 or 1500.
XMR responds to GPU clock speed. Bumping it up increases hash rate but uses more wattage.

Glad to hear you're working on an update, claymore! Any chance you can add auto detect in ethman so it knows what client we're running? You could have 3 speed ratings available in the rig properties, ETH/ZEC/XMR so the manager keeps up when we switch algorithms. While non-RX cards was doing great on v9.6, unfortunately very unstable for RX cards. I've got a few RX 480/470 rigs running perfectly on 9.6, think it might be something to do with your setup. Here's an example of a 6 GPU rig running for almost 3 days straight: https://i.imgur.com/ST3WGLG.pngRig is running W10 4GB RAM 16.11.4 with 4x 480 and 2x 470, all have modded timings. Yes, its due to the Crimson drivers. I have to upgrade the drivers to 16.11.x to get it stable with v9.6 -- it will be a lot of work and downtime. Hope v9.7 will work better with my existing drivers. Try 16.10.2 works great for me.

On your 380s, copy the 1500 memory strap to the next higher one and run the miner at 1070/1600, should get you at least 610.

I started mining with 1 AMD 7950 and 1 R9-280X. Then I gradually built my AMD operation into 12 R9-290s. Awesome ETH hash but ridiculous power consumption and heat. Over the last year I defected to the Nvidia team. I now use GTX 1070s. They were expensive to buy (probably a bargain now) but awesome hash rate vs. power consumption. blah blah blah blah

my 380 2gbs the memory speed in important asus 1375mhz are slower (can't oc above 1380) xfx and sapphire run at 1400 can oc to 1450-60 and there faster at higher memory r9 270 msi memory from 1400 to 1500 also lot faster on my 390 memory stays at 1500 (best) on my rx470 modified bios at 1920 (higher not stable , for ether runs at 1950)

whats the min. payout from dwarfpool, if using exchange address? Is it 5.0 or 0.2 xmr? Website is confusing. 5 xmr would need at least 40 480's
Well i think that's pretty clear "If you mine direct to an exchange, then payment will be from 5 XMR once an hour or once every day" So if you have a very very powerfull mining farm, they will pay you 5+ XMR per hour. If you are a normal miner and generate less than 5 XMR/day , you will be paid your mined XMR once a day. to sums up +5XMR/day = payout every hour as long as you have 5XMR or more unpaid. -5XMR/day = payout every day. Yes, if you switch to daily payouts you'll get paid as soon as you reach 1 XMR so no need to wait for 5.

Yet another person with older cards trying to be greedy by hoping a miner is not updated to optimize current gen cards lol. It's a bit comical to me, especially because your whole premise is flawed... well, at least the way you state it is. Claymore updating this miner to get more out of rx 470-480s will not result in a ton of new XMR miners flooding the XMR market and skyrocketing the difficulty. XMR has already been the most profitable coin to mine for close to a week for those of us with 470/480, so improving this miner may only result in a few more in that boat jumping over to XMR, assuming the gains are notable. What you should and probably are more concerned with is that your "piece of the relative pie" is going to shrink. I get it, and I know i will be in that boat eventually myself, but this is the way of technology. Suggesting that Claymore not update this for current gen GPUs so that you can keep your "edge" with older cards really comes across as sour grapes.

Among other shit I got banned from dwarfpool(didn't check the banned IP yet, so dunno for how long) because of lowdiffculty ... I guess... Btw the same system does ZEC and ETH solid

So yesterday I decided to try bumping to 1200/1975. It seemed fine but then I woke up this morning and found that it had crashed overnight. Also, there was not really any notable h/r increase when I pushed them from 1950 to 1975, so I have them set back to 1950 now. But, I will watch this closely given your comment about 1920. No sense risking more down-time, especially for little or no h/r gain.

Btw the same system does ZEC and ETH solid HYNIX SUCKS BALLS !! literally I hate all of my RX480 hynix..!! Just a word of caution.. Cryptonight is more correlated with core clock. So first the highest core clock at which your 1900 mhz memory maxes out. Thats your core clock for 1900Mhz.. Note the wattage (which usually changes with the core much more than memory). So basically now edge core clock +20MHz and find memory that maxes out with that core clock. Then nudge it 10Mhz again and calibrate memory. Alternate approach is use 2000 memory clock and which cards fail first. Note those and bring those all down with a factor of -25Mhz. So basically if you decide 1950Mhz for all cards.. those bad cards will be at 1925MHz. So thats the thing for you.. Either calibrate from high to low or low to high.. Once you find stable values that don't crash at least for 1Hr. And then Believe me.. Decrease your memory clocks by 20Mhz more !!! and then leave your cars run overnight. Dont tweak the power settings after that.. ! So you will be at higher power settings for lower clocks.. I am hating hynixes .. using 20W more than all my reference cards for 1 MH/s lower hashrate. But with above strategy atleast its stable for a week!!
