^^^ Some users claim sgminer-gm can put a Hynix card over 1k, I think wolf claims 1.2k but he's a special case. I recommend the MSI Armor RX580-8GB (Samsung) for use with Claymore's miner, you'll do 1k no problem with the ubermix straps and it's also the cheapest card to buy.

Carocus might want to try this Hynix strap, it's faster than the 1500 strap and he should be able to get 900+ H/s on that Gigabyte.

Anyone here have rom for my card, please share me. Thanks alot.

No, some users copy their 1500 strap to 2000/2250: this is a custom strap for 2000/2250.

Have a look at the first page in this thread there are a couple of examples for the *.bat file which might help. I'm not sure but the Minergate setting may be for an older version of this miner.
I'd use one of the pools in the given examples (such as Mining Pool Hub - good support) rather than Minergate as it's had some bad press over it's actual hashrates versus what you get.

-------
Thanks for your feedback. I took your advice and just got rid of anything Minergate altogether and being using Mining Pool Hub. I'm getting closer!

So, now I'm at the point where I'm connected to the pool and new jobs are coming in. The miner acknowledges my card (Processor: AMD A6-5400K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics, 3600 Mhz, 1 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)), yet the error messages, "No ASM Binary found for GPU 0," and "OpenCL Error 0 #101/101A: Cannot create GPU memory buffer." And I have no hash rate at all.

http://prntscr.com/hrtp6v

I've increased my virtual memory to 16GB and, from my research today, my AMD processor should work just fine. I saw a recommendation to download/install Catalyst v15.12 as a possible solution.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

From the screenshot 'GPU #0: Scapper, 512 MB Available, 3 Compute Units' it looks like you are trying to mine on a laptop with integrated graphics - this will not work, forget GPU mining (you need at least 2MB GPU vRAM). On the otherhand, CPU mining Cryptonote (Monero, Sumokoin, Electroneum) is doable - just.

I already used this strap, but my hash still around 800 Sad
I think PC RX580 8G Hynix not good for Cryptonight, it can run ETH 180Mhs. I think I need Wolf0 support  Roll Eyes

I am seeing a nearly 10% jump in hash rate on my RX 570 rigs for version 11 compared to version 10.  Not sure about power usage but I don't think it changed much if at all (and who cares for that kind of jump in hash rate).  Now to see if that actually translates to hash rate gain at the pool.

Anyone else seeing this kind of improvement with version 11?
I've been using claymore v11 for around one day, and yes it seems there's hashrate increase - judging from the miner info.
However, I've been keeping an eye on actual statistics of the pool I'm mining on - and it looks like hashrate is actually quite lower.

To give an example - 2 of my GPUs (RX 570 btw) are mining with claymore v9.7 with 1650 H/s total on average (stat from the miner) - pool statistics are similar.
Another 2 GPUs are mining with claymore v11 with 1830 H/s (same pool, BIOS, OC settings).
However, if I bluntly compare average shares per hour ratio (I know the difficulties can differ though), I get around 375 for BOTH sets of GPUs on v9.7 and v11.

I'm starting to get suspicious (and a bit paranoid) about v11.

Same for me!

I'am using:

6 * hd 7790 with version 9.7 and hashrate at miner site is the same on pool site!
6 * rx 460 with version 10.2 and hashrate at miner site is the same on pool site!
4 * hd 7850 with version 9.7 and hashrate at miner site is the same on pool site! (can not use 10.2 too much miscalculated)
2 * hd 7850 + 2 * R9 270 with version 9.7 and hashrate at miner site is the same on pool site! (can not use 10.2 too much miscalculated)

i changed the rx 460 the hd 7850 and the r9 270 to version 11.0 and now
for all these three rigs the hashrate is 5 % better at miners site but round about 10% lower at pool site ( i tested two pools)

so i switched back !

Having some trouble getting my rig running. I'm on Ubuntu, using Claymore's 11. I can't get things configure right or something because I keep getting:

'./nsgpucnminer: error while loading shared libraries: libOpenCL.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory'

as an error message. I've been scouring the forum for hours and haven't seen a simple answer to this problem. It's also worth mention that I'm a Linux noob.

Trying to get 3 amd vega 64s up and running asap so any help is highly appreciated

Claymore, what can you say about this?

Check GPU load in gpu-z (must be 100% all the time).
I will do some tests in 1-2 days to confirm that the miner produces correct number of shares, though I already did it for v11.

UPD: It seems I found the reason, when pool sends new job, v11.0 drops old job too late (loses 1-2 sec). I have fixed this bug but it will take 1-2 days to test it properly and release an update. However, you can test a fix right now if you want and tell me if it helps:

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Moving from sgminer-gm-xmr to claymore-xmr 11, makes RX580's increase hash quite a bit, but makes RX480's totally unstable.  I get errors on one GPU, and the other just fails out quickly.

I've tried decreasing -h down from 1125 down to 900, no help.

Anyone else have this issue?

They do. Hynix is not such a bad memory.
I have a bunch of RX 570 4GB cards with different Hynix memory types and they all run between 970 and 980 h/s @1200/2000.
Most can be bumped well over 1k h/s, but it's not very effective consumption wise.
All you need is the right custom made strap that's all, which you can get online for the right price i guess or if someone wants to make them for you.
Maybe the 580 8GB ones can even push 1.2k if Wolf is behind the wheel, but i haven't gotten that far yet, most i can push out of Hynix memory is about 1060 h/s, but you need higher voltage for that, mostly beyond 920mV.
Same story with Micron & Elpida memory, you just need a good strap.
I prefere keeping them at 1200/2000@860-880mV, runs cool and power efficient  Grin

I did not notice a performance boost with new version but the overall mining process has become more stable and got less broken shares. Thank you Claymore

I haven't had luck with custom Hynix straps.  I get very good results with Samsung Ubermix straps, and paid Elpida ones.  Paid Hynix straps are crap, either no better than 1500 strap, or instant freeze. Plus there are several different models, so very difficult to optimize. Tried multiple custom straps.

With a bit of tweaking I've managed to get my Aorus Hynix 580's up to 838 H/s.  Can't seem to squeeze any more out of them.
However with the same settings they can now achieve a stable 30.1 Mh/s dual mining ETH which is roughly 5 Mh/s more than I was getting from them to start with!

I just don't think the Gigabyte cards are that good.  They only have a single strap setting in the bios (0:xxxx) rather than the 1:xxxx and 2:xxxx other 580s have.  Not sure of this is a sign of their inferiority or not?

I've just ordered a couple of MSI Armor 580's which are supposed to perform better so will see what I can do with them when they arrive.
