I still remember that NXT supporters used to laugh at LTC,BTC supporters because of their unfair criticism and now NXT guys are repeating the same thing, its fun to see NXT supporters here whining like kids  |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Dont pay attention to them. Some of them will do anything to damage NEM. I am stakeholder and I am very happy with decision made. Edequa will not dictate what should we do. We the community are happy with that. If you dont like it, Edequa go back to NXT. No one force you to be here, or to take part in anything. (not that you do, except for FUDing)

If i am included in CoSigners, and also everyone on one representative from different language nemsters blocks you will calm down Eadeqa?
No, I don't care how many CoSigners you have. You changed the promise of 75% to 25% at launch and confiscated the unclaimed stakes. No one has changed promise!There was not so much stakeholders,as devs expected,and I think,this is the reason.They has oportunity,to launch NEM or wait extra year,to get 75% to stakeholders. |

Thanks Tompa, that was the problem. I bought ~$30 of XEM and after just 1 day I harvested my first block, you can't to that with Bitcoin. Now to work on getting 5M XEM. |

Thanks Tompa, that was the problem. I bought ~$30 of XEM and after just 1 day I harvested my first block, you can't to that with Bitcoin. Now to work on getting 5M XEM. I harvested more profit with NEM on my first day then I did 9 months of harvesting on other platforms. |

Same here. I've only got a stock of 0.1 NEMStakes ( around 245k ) and harvested 1369 XEM so far. This is much more than I have ever done on other cryptos. This shows the coins is really fair for non big-mining-rig owners... Thanks Tompa, that was the problem. Then you can turn off your computer. Desktop PCs and Laptops are very ineficient and use more electricity than VPS instances or even Raspberry Pis. So why not use them for having a node (NIS) working on them and then you just connect to them with your NCC from your Desktop PC. I have 3.7% importance but have been unable to harvest a single block. It has been days does anyone have any advice or is this how it works?
EDIT nvm I did harvest a block but the reward was zero. So why harvest at all? It doesnt seem like the reward is worth it.
I have 2,9% of importance and harvest about 25 blocks in one week,or around 750 XEM in week. I have solved my issue and harvested just over 400xem in the last day |

Any updates on what is being developed? I really want to see the next phase, enough of PoI and other technical things. The coin is out, the ecosystem is forming, ok. Now it must form into something that has an actual use - what is the next step? What are the timelines like?
Right now, I have a platform that functions well, a great tool I can point at nothing and get nothing accomplished with. A greatly distributed and "fair" vehicle that does nothing at this point in time.
Where are we heading?

The core devs are currently working on the NEM whitepaper. We all know that this is a very important step so NEM will be taken seriously by the crypto scene (and the rest of the world). I can't announce a fixed timeline for this, but am confident that it will be released in the next 2 weeks (again, this is no promise, but my personal estimate). After this is done, it makes sense to work on a prioritization of features to be developed in the future and an approximate timeline. |
