Have the BTT token coins been distributed? Last I checked I still didn't have any and I really wanna start staking :/

Then, booting a local node is a minimum condition for contribution to the network, right?
1) yes Is this true even with a closed port? It is necessary to boot in order to contribute but not sufficient. You need to either start harvesting and/or open port 7890 to bring value to the network. 1) In case of not harvesting, did I understand the condition of contribution right? Running NIS/NCC ---> open wallet ----> booted(synchronized) & choose remote server(open port 7890) ----> "close wallet" or let it open. 2) In setting, auto boot is more influential than remote server in contribution to network? Or...? 1) you can close the wallet 2) autoboot is the same as booting manually |

We should offer free nem to bring in new people. It ain't much but offering a small amount of nem for someone to try the client would probably help grow the user base. I am changing my signature to this. Every little bit counts. |

I understand your reasoning, but that wouldn't really help bring in as many newcomers as possible... Maybe if bitcointalk newbies post here enough, or show some way that they're genuinely interested in contributing? I wouldn't wanna be excluded from such a giveaway after all this trouble I'm going through!  |

Hey guys
I am doing some brain storming and need the power of the community.
XEM cryptocurrency is the best "currency" in so much as far as the actual software supporting XEM is the best. But lots of other things about NEM are falling far short.
I want to know what do we "need" to be successfull? What does XEM need? What does NEM community need? And what does NEM software need?
I'll start.
XEM needs:
1) lots of places accepting it
2) more exchanges
3) better fiat <-> XEM options
4)....
NEM community needs:
1) good communication
2) more structure and organization
3) better websites
4) more ways to recruit new people
5) support for community
6)...
NEM software needs:
1) A better GUI
2) more features
3) more powerful partners in industry taking it up
4) better product support
5)...

As an investor, it is really annoying to see people discussing nonsense topics here. Why don't you focus on NEM's development instead of feeding FUDsters and NEM haters. I would like to read more stuff that matters.

There is no proof for this statement. No independent review either from software engineers nor cryptographers (who have examined all 500+ cryptos source codes) to support that statement. |

i don't see how it is good news First they ignore you and laugh at you. Then they hate you and put you in jail or shoot you. Then they accept you. Not once can I think of has a country ever get created that didn't involved people getting shot or at least thrown in jail. Both Ghandi and Nelson Mandela were quite familiar with jail cells. I'm not saying he is like them. I'm just trying to make an example that building a country isn't easy. |

ERROR 500 An error occurred that the development team did not have foreseen. Apologies for this, maybe a retry might help. Otherwise, please open up an issue within the NEM NIS/NCC community. |

A faucet is an okay idea and we own nemfaucet.com but everybody that is building is working on other projects at the moment. But if somebody wants to build a faucet, I'll top it up with 100k One problem about faucets is they are easily gamed by people, where as the message of people sending PMs doesn't really get gamed that much. |
