I have alraedy harvested 3 blocks and always got 0 NEM for it. Is this normal?

It is if those blocks were "empty", I mean didn't carry any transaction with fees. Also in 0.55 you still cannot see the "awards" from blocks in transaction list because it is a bug. if you would find a block and it contained fees, you'd receive the NEM and you would be able to see that in your balance. If you need more testNEM, just PM me or join official forum or join IRC #ournem :-)

you can't treat it like a men's club and joke around about women
Mgm, cryptoanarchists joke about everything, I suppose. About men, women, all kind of concepts that dividing people, distancing mankind's thriving in prosperity, gender not an exclusion. Among cryptocommunities much less evil minds, cos of better understanding of nature of network effect  Roll Eyes

I'd go so far as to say no coin can ever be considere 100% secure. Shit just happens. Maybe a vuln becomes possible through technological advance...we can never know.

That make me think that this could happen any day soon and we wouldn't even be aware
or it. We all know that a quantum computers are being in development but we don't know
from the "free media"  if there is any already in existence Wink

Therefore US or any other government could be in possession of such technology
before anybody else and could use it to destroy the crypt currencies if they becomes of a burden
to them.

It would be similar like today in BTC mining where a company that makes ASIC and other mining
hardware mines BTC with that hardware for few months and then they sell to others
this "newest technology" hardware so that they can mine further while they will have
and will keep the real newest technology for themself for a few months just enough to have advantage
over anybody else Wink

Security hole is addressed.  Coin is forked before it was attacked or whenever devs decide to be optimal.  Market forces select new coin.  Life and crypto-currencies move on.

try to find anything on the top of that thread... Wink

P.s. if you didn't see anything on the top it means that you have to register in that thread(forum)

www.iotatoken.com                      https://twitter.com/iotatoken
Iota is a brand new and novel micro-transaction cryptotoken optimized for the Internet-of-Things (IoT). Unlike the complex and heavy blockchains of Bitcoin and the like, which were designed with other uses in mind, Iota is created to be as lightweight as possible, hence the name "Iota" with emphasis on the ‘IoT’ part.

If only the NIS will work, will my computer helping nonamely online? Or it is necessary to start the NIC and boot local node?

File .wlt is located .../ncc/. Can I change its location and move it to another location? For example order to it was on a USB flash drive during the work? Can all files including .wlt, locate and run in a USB flash drive?

Guys are there any plans or 2-Factor Auth or Multisig for NEM? That could really be an advantage against NXT. A lot of people don't consider one long brain wallet password safe! Once it is hacked, all your coins are gone.

NEM does not use brain walltes. You need a password AND as well a wallet file with a private key that matches your address - so we already have two factor auth  Wink

You can only harvest when at least part of your balance has been on the account for at least 24 hours.

...

File  .wlt is located .../ncc/.  ...

Seems like an unconventional place to put it.  Why not ...\AppData\Roaming\Nem  ?

I first assumed it was a brain wallet since I did not find it either under same Roaming folder where most other wallets are and also I did not see it in the package folder.

When is next Alpha build coming? Smiley

Not decided yet. Probably the next build will make a restart of the block chain necessary and since there will be another change soon that is not compatible with the current chain we are probably waiting a bit longer to include it too in order not to have to restart again.

1) you need to boot the local node to help the network. After that, you can shutdown gui and ncc and only keep nis running.
2) Right now the location of the wallet is hard coded but that will probably change in the future.

sounds like a new core feature (or 2) is being added. Wink

I'm VERY excited about those supersecret stuff for beta and later versions. Very curious what they will bring! Smiley We really have smart devs. Lets all support this great project as best as we can by engaging in whatever field we can contribute.
If we and only if we work together we can achieve a really game changing stuff. This is the best starting community so far and so early, lets not loose the momentum. It would be awesome if everyone of those who are on the stakeholder list would speak up and seek to find their place in making NEM great! It doesn't matter if you don't code, there is so much everyone of us can do beside that!

not really, one restart is cause we need to change key generation algorithm a bit, to make it easier to use 3rd party libs.

second restart however is due to improvements in PoI (if all will go well we should get nice speed up).
