Hi All been following this thread from the start. I got my 2 Batch2 S3 today would of had them sooner but was away when they came. I seem to have gotten a couple of race horses here they both on the standard settings that they came with of 218.75 freq and one is hashing as high as 500+ but main sits around 472. the other gets up to the 470 but mainly sits around 440. the only thing i have done witch was 5min ago was change the queue time as talked about on page 147. these are my first ever ants and very happy with the product. the only question I have got is i like to have the cgminer running up in my terminal window showing whats stats I'm getting etc and switch pools. I have a windows for all my miners KNC that I ssh into and a BFL thing( yep I know don't got there waste of time that thing was by the time I got it. lol) anyway any help would be good. Thanxs Duce for those steps on page 147 easy as to follow.

@sergio,
Thanks for your advise and we really feel the responsibility share the mining profit with miners. The raise of the B5 price is after we find that we can ship them out much earlier. So it is a reflection of the shipping date change.
We have evaluated the mining competition situation, we forecast that in the next one month the diff growth rate will stay low.
About the switch:
We recommend the resellers in U.S. and Europe to buy it and distribute it. The shipping date can be much earlier than we promised.
If you wish Bitmain, you may include this on your website. It's pulled from a personal node and updates every 5 mins. http://www.eojmarket.com/BTC-Node_Stat_Sig/BTC-Node_Stats.php

You guys had plenty of time to place an order before the bitcoin price tanked. Seriously stop complaining and acting as if the sky is falling if they raise their prices. If you are a serious miner, you already have your S3's, or ordered them already. If you are a casual miner, you shouldn't care about .01-.1 price fluctuations.
I'm getting really tired of people coming in this thread and flaming the only reliable mining company in the business that constantly gets better and better. Seriously. Stop it.
Notice: Revised Version of quote begins here:>>>>>>>> .......... most of us are professional miners in the sense that we been doing this since the days of CPU/GPU mining, casual in the sense of the scale that we operate. ...... I have mined in the CPU/GPU days and made profit lots of profit. Bitmain is currently the only reliable vendor as far as sales go. And I would like to point out that this is not flaming, the goal is clear and precise, Bitmain is currently the best we have without a doubt. KNC a year ago could have corrected themselves, now I see it a little late for that. BFL, they hit bottom, no correction is possible here. Bitmain can correct the path, they are not late, all the have to do is put themselves on the miners position and think what actually creates a win win situation, not do the bare minimum to stay on top. I mine not only for the ROI, but because I trully believe in Bitcoin, and believe that decentralization is essential for its survival. If you follow the posts because of this very situation many miners, small miners have quit, and that is not a healthy situation and does not help in decentralization. Notice: Revised Version of quote ends here:<<<<<<<<< Wow... AAA+ post and I hope you can forgive me for being selective in the quote? The simple answer is... P2Pool - Decentralised - Antminer S1 and S3 friendly - I'm a Bitcoin node - I am a small miner - I love Bitcoin

I've found that the pair I have run best at 212.5 freq, --queue=1, hashing reliably for 2 days at 428. I'm fairly bummed that it won't reliably do more and won't be buying anymore until they fix the issues with the DC/DC converters.

The growth of difficulty is difficult now. The total network hash rate is beyond 130PH/s. 10MW mining center was unthinkable half a year ago and make people worry about 51% attack, but now such a facility can only add 10% more hash rate to the network, which will take long time and huge capital to plan/build. At the meaning time, large hosting facility are not ready enough, and lots of competing mining rig providers either late in time or worse in spec than expectation.
We believe it is now very good time to invest into mining rigs.
About the switch:

@BITMAIN what about batch 4 orders still unshipped and you just said batch 5 deliver started?. I thought you will first deliver batch 4, then 5. Or how can i track my EMS order, it says still unshipped but maybe it has been delivered, i dont know

Just checked on UPS and the 'tracking by reference' shows that a label has been created. Bitmain still has status 'unshipped'. Looks like it will get into the weekend, hopefully no extra delays like on B1/2 when shipping was staying 'forever' at Schenzen. Cheers

I'm also having the issue with the S3 hashrate dropping off. It generally starts around 435Gh but drops to around 390-400GHs. I'm at work now and I'm looking at my S3 on Slush's pool and I'm currently showing - Total average hash rate in last 60 minutes: 381070 Mhash/s Has anyone found a solution to this or had word from BitMain? Some units do and some don't, try a lower clock such a 212.5 as others have identified. I have one that runs steady at 218.5 and another that does not like the stock clock but runs fine at 212.5, and is reliable at that speed. I'm also having the issue with the S3 hashrate dropping off. Thanks Duce and philipma1957, clocking down to 212.5 works great. Hashing at 410 atm but at least its stable and doesn't end up at 380-390Ghs! Do you think it would be worth engaging Bitmain about this? Would really like that extra 30Ghs!

Hey Everybody,
So I just setup my newly received S3s from Batch 4. All work well except for this one particular S3 which keeps on showing hash rate of ~338gh/s. On further inspection from the Miner Status page, I found that Chain #2 is showing ASIC Status of "-o-o-o-o -o-o-o-o -o-o-o-o -ooo-o-o" & ASIC # as "32" which is different from all my other miners showing "oooooooo oooooooo" and "16" respectively.
Any idea what is wrong? Everything is running on stock, connecting 2 S3s to a Cooler Master V1200 Platinum (will eventually run 3 on this later all on stock but 2 for now)

The shipping of B5 started, 7 days earlier than promised date. We added more B5 units for sale.
Any way we can get you to update these kinds of things in a central location? Like, I don't know, the "News" section of www.bitmaintech.com?Would be awesome.

Hello guys! Im trying to solve my issue with my 4x Antminer S3. Yesterday happened anomalous thing during midnight. I woke up and the miners werent mining at all. I was mining 2 weeks without any problem with S3 (and 4 months in all), everything was stable and running well. Since now... I will describe my setup deeply. First thing has to be mentioned, I supply each couple of miners on separate PSUs (750W HX and CX corsair). So I can prove that my PSUs are working properly. I also changed the cable, tried to reset my router, tried to upgrade FW on miners, tried to factory reset, tried DHCP (instead of static IP as I used to have), tried another circuit, tried to call my internet provider. And everything looks be fine. But still I cant find out, where is the problem. It really happened spontaneous without any intervention from my or somebody else side. All my miners look running well, LED is turn on, I have also connection to WebGUI, I can everything set, but I dont see any info in tab "miner status" also miners dont consume full power because they are not mining. Im really pissed off with this situation, i tried to check and test almost everything I imagine, but I dont know what to do now. Please guys, advice me something what I maybe forgot or gimme the point of what could happened. I will donate the one who will help me with this! First time I ever heard of this one. That chain 2 board sounds more like it's from an S1. I would first try a reboot and if that doesn't help maybe you should pull the cover and check that board. If both boards look the same you could try re-seating all of your cables or just make sure they're plugged in all the way.
