Same, but only for a couple hours. It's probably just nobody staking atm. We're not far enough into the game to have people staking hourly yet. So it's going to move in fits and starts. Can't speak for anyone else, but I will have my blocks configured to stake at least once a day within a month. Small amounts to be sure, but it will move the chain.

It is lack of mature blocks. I have some mature but I only fire up my wallet every few hours to push the chain along. Need to save enough to last through the rough patches. Pretty soon this will be a thing of the past.

Just an update to everyone. I am working on a roadmap that will detail the development goals for HyperStake over the long term and also give information about the coming fork to reign in inflation. Hope to have the release out in a day.
will it also stake more then ? if u could (besides the inflation upgrades u have planned) half the staking amount and have it stake 2as much. (im not trying to milk a % increase im just looking to move the blockchain along)

(im not trying to milk a % increase im just looking to move the blockchain along) The update is going to slow the block target down and this will create a bigger queue of blocks ready to stake at any point, thus solving the chains problem with consistency.

Community Update Good morning! Bit of a quiet weekend but there are some updates on the horizon. Presstab has promised information on the incoming fork, as well as his plan for inflation control within the next 24 hours. He and David are currently mocking up a roadmap so that future plans are clear and laid out for the community. However since there is a fork planned, it's less important to rush onto a large exchange until we are completely stable. That said, do what you can to support the exchanges who were smart enough to pick HYP up in its early stages. Trade on https://coin-swap.net/market/HYP/BTC and https://www.allcoin.com/trade/HYP_BTC to keep the volume fluid. Offloading can and will happen with all new coins as people move on to the next little pump. Our team is in it for the long haul. You won't find any disappearing acts here We were added to a new exchange but the community consensus is to AVOID it like the plague. Say no to 'coincubess' lol If you are on Twitter, help HYP get noticed. Tweet #hyperstake as well. https://twitter.com/BittrexExchange https://twitter.com/Poloniexhttps://twitter.com/cryptsyThe irc is always open and it's usually raining HYP! Hi presstab,
I think I found a display issue with the Staking: I bought & withdrew HYP 11.7. 6:22h UTC (time when the transaction was done, which is the time used for display in the wallet). So they appear ripe now, and the wallet is displaying that it would stake any second now for about a day, incl. displaying a weight in coin control. However, on 11.7. and 12.7., blocks were slooooow and the transactions were only included in a block on 12.7. in the afternoon. Since blocks are again slow right now as consequence of being slow 9 days ago, I would have expected them to already stake. So, now I assume that for staking itself, the timestamp of the block will be used, not the timestamp of the transaction. In a way this is good, because the transaction timestamp might be faked, but perhaps the GUI should take this into consideration and not suggest them being ripe already?
Kind regards Mike

It actually does use the transaction time rather than the block time. The question I have and am not exactly sure at the moment is whether the transaction time defaults as the block time. Here is the timeweight code: int64 nTimeWeight = min((int64)nTimeTx - txPrev.nTime, (int64)nStakeMaxAge) - nStakeMinAge; CBigNum bnCoinDayWeight = CBigNum(nValueIn) * nTimeWeight / COIN / (24 * 60 * 60); Be mindful that there is still a factor of luck involved in the process. You are trying to create a hash that is larger than the kernel hash, and the more coin weight you have the more likely it will be to solve the problem in a timely manner. Just yesterday a member had a block of 7 stake after 20 days.
