Hi mafort1469, long time no chat  Smiley

I have some at 9k each right now. 26k should be able to stake fairly fast, but you will need to keep your wallet open for at least a few hours to get them.

Yes, been away awhile, but all good now. I was just curious as I only have my wallet open 8 hours/day (work computer). Kind of my own experiment of how high I can get coin weight to go. They do stake fast once wallet is unlocked...that is for sure. Anyway downloaded wallet upgrade and THANKS for maximize button on coin control. Good additions on everything else too. I have some other ideas which I'll add to the wallet features request page when I get a chance. Great work!!!

mafort proposed to write a PoS guide. I started something here (What is PoS), please everyone correct and extend and make it as simple as possible. Mafort, you told me on IRC you're a good editor, so I'm counting on you Smiley You have carte blanche. You can use this document (NOBL stake) as an inspiration, but beware not to be polluted by other people's writing, it could end up counter-productive.

And I welcome bitmaster as our new Facebookmaster Smiley

ZeeWolf and I were able to get the client to switch GUI stylesheets on runtime. This means that everyone will be able to use customizable GUI's in the next wallet release. We will have one or two official themes, and then leave additional customization to the end user doing the staking  Wink

I think a light and dark theme (similar to Poloniex GUI) would be cool to have.  Any thoughts?

Tired of seeing 950 1010 1200 1250 950.
Just moved the last few to my wallet. Maybe traders can play with their own coins.  Cheesy

The night theme for polo is super slick and nice on the eyes... and you know most of us just sit in front of our screens watching the proverbial paint dry / stake

This post sums up why all this bullshit is a scam

If you plan to open your wallet only once a month.
Default value are meant to be conservative - that's the point, default must be secure.

We are working on a "wizard-like" feature where you just enter how often you plan to open your wallet and the wallet will auto-optimise accordingly. No ETA, though.

And yet another exclusive from HYP Smiley

Definitely good. I would go as far as having two: one with serif fonts (like poloniex.com) and one with sans-serif (like the present wallet). I hope that this way Poloniex will understand that their trademark serif is not so great.

"Poloniex: the only exchange with serif fonts" Wink

Wow diff is already up to 0.84 !! Pretty high for a PoS coin. This coin is going to become harder and harder to PoS mine overtime because of the expansion of the money supply. And as such, block sizes will need to be increased, potentially to the point that you will have to hit the max reward if you want a timely stake.

And as such, block sizes will need to be increased, potentially to the point that you will have to hit the max reward if you want a timely stake.

And this will influence interest rate limiting money supply and thus controlling inflation and exponential growth. It means that early adopters will benefit from compounding while the diff is low but when it rises they can nevertheless have a good income because of the size of their staking holdings. At this stage the network will be secured enough to be used by merchants who can be interested in staking too.
