This is Monday, this is HyperLoan time This time, no less than FOUR winners - this is the maximum; there won't be five winners for week five) Winners are: +2 wickedsick - pFVxQp6VhMFDgjS9kqtcPG57Qce51uKEpf+1 denis72 - p8o4HNTBoiimkmnWSh2Cy8g326EtDuXAV1+1 UroCEO - p65vV1RHVBMVQtAqGFBksrBipGhSuWSEkj (on IRC) +1 Swag - pMWV9QohbMNV954p72gccGKeAGftgscRHaWhy some +3 or +2 did not win? Because they either did not give me their address or their address was not empty (address with 0.6 or the like are OK, as these is people who thought that adding some HYP from faucet was necessary, whilst it is not) Happy loaning, happy stacking! What you, as a winner (not just a candidate) will have to do: 1. Create a dedicated address in your wallet and post it on the forum, so that anyone can track the progress. If you don't know how to do so, just ask on the forum 2 Once you have received the 4K HYP, you will start posting on HyperLoan logs about your feedback. It can be just one posts several posts tracking your increasing understanding of HyperStake, questions... and of course, everyone can post there too. 3. At the end of the 30 days, you will send the principal (4k) back to the originating address pNzkDjKNpfYsYhYZF6zL1F5UAx7KQqS48NHappy loaning, happy stacking! David, I already told you that Swag is a known scammer, not sure why you chose him... Quick announcement that Swag has scammed some members out of over 0.5 btc and tons of HYP. Please do not trade with this person. Also I am likely going to ban Swag from the logo contest. Swag if you would like to defend yourself please speak up now! From my look at the blockchain it looks way too suspicious.
For major trades please use a trusted escrow!! I am more than happy to help.
Edit - if the accusations have been cleared, let me know.

A community driven and decided massive buy wall would be a nice way to secure the price of HYP if everyone agreed to buy at a certain price (2k for example) we could get several BTC worth on one order creating a nice wall for HYP.
HyperShield phase IV. By the way, where is the reddit tipbot you promised? David, I already told you that Swag is a known scammer, not sure why you chose him... Because I forgot to update I will choose some one else. If swag happens to give the money back at the end of the 30 days, so much the better. If not, he will be on the Wall of Shame and I will have lost 4K.

My best guess, somewhere between 2K and 3K HYP. Difficulty keeps going up, so anything beyond that will risk hitting the max reward limit. If difficulty starts dropping, you could would also do well with slightly larger blocks (up to ~4K), but it's unlikely that the average daily difficulty will drop. Happy staking!

Yes, difficulty is on its way up right now. Here is a chart of difficulty since block 100k (smoothened and averaged). It seems to be much more volatile lately, but on a clear path up in the last week or so.

Happy staking! - High risk/high reward: 4K
- Normal: 3.3K
- Risk adverse: 2.4K
2.4K comes from personal observation: I had a 2.5K block hitting the wall last week. Also http://bit.ly/hypsize

Why is the HYP 2nd in Command making out of the blue derogatory posts in other high POS coin threads? What a class act. You do not see Tranz do that. You do not see Thundertoe do that. You do not see iGotSpots do that. In the BALLS thread: In the TEK thread: (Quite the backfire on this one...whoops! Dev in title only I guess or you would think David would know these basics) I have noticed it has become more easier to wait for low diff of 0.000061. Do you mean that HYP network (around 2.1) is THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND TIMES more secure than TEK's?No. Because TEK is a hybrid and HYP is a pure POS coin. They don't really directly compare in security. The POW network difficulty... welll, I'll just pull the json. { "proof-of-work" : 237857.13633377, "proof-of-stake" : 0.00006450, "search-interval" : 1 } As you know, I'm heavily into both of these coins, and I'm not going to badmouth either one. Honest comparisons are good, but on this one it's apples and oranges. I think HYP is the best secured and best functioning pure High PoS coin, but it's security is actually several orders of magnitude lower than TEK from a purely technical standpoint. Granted, it's harder to mount a 51% attack on HYP or any PoS coin that it would be on a pure PoW coin. But hybrids are the most secure of all, AND continue to function if something goes wrong with one of the proofs of work. Both coins have strong merits and some problems. I have a strong position in both, and I consider them both worthy of it.

Not making excuses here, but I would suspect a lot of the comments are reactionary to the blatant attack on HYP and few weeks back (and still in progress). Sadly it seems everyone is jockeying for the top spot in the POS coin world. Hopefully everyone will calm down and worry about their own coin soon enough.

Actually yes we have seen both Thundertoe and Palmdetroit join in on the FUD thread a month or two ago, which to be honest I wasn't all that surprised. Tranz, definitely not, he is way above that. iGotSpots, not sure don't really follow his posts on bitcointalk. At the end of the day... don't care, get over it. People can and will post what they want. Just another normal day on bitcointalk, one of the most dramatic user bases in existence.

(Two carefully selected quotes to make me appear as the Bad Guy) How surprising that you did not quote my answers further down the discussion (both of them). I could almost believe you have an agenda... That would mean lowering myself to the level of the fudders - instead, I created FUD_FAQ. Plus, AFAIK, iGotSpots (or Snowball) was not involved in the attacks against HYP. Correlation is not causation

(Two carefully selected quote to make me appear as the Bad Guy) How surprising that you did not quote my answers further down the discussion (both of them). I could almost believe you have an agenda... Lol those were not carefully selected quotes...they were big glaring 'WTF...why would he posts that?' posts. Why would I even have to quote your responses? Did you or did you not make those quoted posts? Therefore you ARE being a Bad Guy. You made those comments out of the blue, not in any defense, so you know exactly what those posts were. I think just quoting your attacks is enough. Your comments following the quoted are nothing. You simply say 'thank you' and then add more condescending passive aggressive trimmings. I can quote all that too if you'd like...or people can just go to the thread and see themselves if they care. You think I have an agenda? Funny thing for a guy who is busy with an agenda of attacking other coins to promote HYP. Egg on the face.

This. I have people I consider friends on all sides of this. I don't particularly like being in the middle.

I just minted, and I went to view it and it said generated but not accepted. This means it was orphaned, correct?
TXID for reference: f64fdb8a3b74aa5e71f2e521914ef0fe4349ceb0709ead976411b7d8d609521f-000
mtwelve, not sure if you figured this out yet, but using the checkwallet and repairwallet buttons in the tools menu will get rid of your orphaned stake.

I had to restart my comp and therefore my wallet. This erased the settings for "setstakesplitthreshold" resulting in a block split I didn't want to happen.

Yes right now your preference is not stored to the wallet.dat. I will be adding this soon. If you restart your wallet, it will go back to default of 1,000 unless you set it again. I should have this ready for the next wallet version.
