Via and BTCD are both good, but i still think via is the best!!!

personally I didn't invest into BTCD because of the words Bitcoin and Dark.
i'm kicking myself now, but I assume it wont be a long term thing unless they change their name.

I'm impressed on how strong the via price is. since the very beginning to now and still going, the price just keeps bouncing back, higher and higher.
There has been numerous times with huge dumps on bittrex and the price doesn't nudge few % below. It just keeping coming back up.

$1 per via is inevitable with drak's xch plan and peter on the team, all we need is the time required to develop the codes.
Just look at bittrex btc-via timeline, select all, very nice slow steady rise.

I was pretty skeptical of the VIA launch. The stated plans were very vague, and "blockchain 2.0" is a Red Flag buzzword.  But hiring Peter Todd turned all that around.  It's now a plausible plan.  So I'm in and hodling.

Can we please keep hype to a minimum? Can anybody please explain what is superior about this coin compared to the plethora of alt-coins out there and coming out.  I am honestly interested in investing some money in this.  I like where the trend has gone so far.  I'm looking for something that has potential to boom like crazy though.  No hype, just real logic.

Same here exactly,  Design and naming to me plays a big role in coins.

That is completely irrelevant hahaha.....  Coin could be called shitcoin for all I cared so long as it has some sort of logic and intrinsic value.  Most of these altcoins lack any of that, doesn't matter how catchy or how nice it looks.

What is so great about viacoin?  I haven't done much research, but I am honestly wanting a simple answer, or at least a place to start researching.  I like how there was a decent IPO, but low mine-ability.   This is what makes coins.  What ruins the alt-coin market IMO is miners that saturate the market by exploiting how much you can mine.  The more coins there are the more inflation there is and will inevitable devalue and kill the coin.  There has to be some sort of balance, but it is nice that you also gave people who don't even plan on mining to own some coin and know that their is less probability that the value will be saturated in the future by miners.  What else as far as anonymity, or reputation of the devs, etc. does this coin have?\

A good example of a succesfull coin with low mining rewards is Uno.  It is still a great coin to invest in and can be pretty sure you will make money if you buy at the right price and don't sell out too late, and even then there is always possibility of you recouping your loss overtime.   Too many noobs making coins that have too much mining reward that are only valuable to people with shitty mining hardware and at the very beginning of the 'life' cycle of the coin.

I think anything under 100k is still pretty cheap for only 10 million coins.  200-400k seems about right.

55k buy wall completely eaten up.

That wall was not fake, obviously. Break ATH, raise +10%, set huge buywall, guaranteed fills. Buyer really wanted those viacoins..

True, what I don't understand is why to do it that way? Due to the VIA volume he could get the 45 BTC way way cheaper and in not a long time, there was 15 BTC sell walls at just 45k yesterday...

Definitely he WANTED those VIAs... Did it that way to promote the coin and add a bit of growth? He must have known for sure that the price would bounce back to where he started the purchase (and it happened that way).

I think somebody just wanted 100 BTC for a long term investment.  not many people are selling, so its necessary to get deep into the order book and drive up the price.  his average is less that high of course.

those bumps while people acquire have been happening regularly.  the price falls back down after the purchases, but always creep back up and then some.

I would be stupid to sell out now then huh?  Was thinking about buying cloak instead....  Heard it might blow up soon, but I dont know what to do =/  Now seems like a good time to buy in to cloaks.
