It's very well written underneath, I really think it could use a 2014 interface instead of a 1994 one tho Smiley it would make it more inviting and usable for new users.

Comparing it to other trading applications on the market, you can't really. Other apps require quite an upfront costs with added costs on top to purchase 'plugins' they don't offer the same level of developer interaction and they aren't based on a coin.

As I said previously the ping pong would be nice if it had a 'if price <=' or if there was some way of cataloging your successful buy orders and not allowing them to be sold under a certain price.

Porting it to OSx,ios,android.. Now there's a thought.

I love the app, keep up the good work. Rewards will follow Smiley

Couple of suggestions.  First I mentioned previously.

1. Set option to have all orders cancelled(check box) if bid/ask falls below set spread.  This will prevent orders from sitting idle if for instance the same spread number follow a large dip or rise.

2. Ability to set a minimum threshold for scalping.  For instance if you don't want to outbid lets say .001 QTL with a bid/ask of say 20 QTL.

Both of these suggestions are great! I'm running out of improvement suggestions for the advanced ping-pong function. This trader is amazing - and so early in development too!

Ok, some issues on "Advanced Ping Pong" that I have spotted:

1) The "Save" function only seems to save that last trader market that you close down. When running multiple instances this is of little use. What should happen (I suggest) is that the settings for EACH MARKET are saved. When you select that market in the trader, the last used settings should be retrieved.

2) The "Not enough QTL" still occurred overnight. So the momentary internet disconnect is still interrupting trading. If the trader can "sleep" for 60 seconds once a disconnect has occurred and then retry that will ensure seamless operation.

Both of these are quite important issues. Thanks Markus!

Just another thought that I don't remember seeing, but this app also lets anyone trade across multiple exchanges with a common interface.  That, to me, is just another in a line of benefits.  Demand will come.

Also, it's probably a matter of time before people start wanting "fancy", but if we are at that point, it's all good!  I want functional, functional, functional..... (Meaning, make me MONEY!)

I have heard maybe you can run it in a VM windows on Mac.  But the reality is that 96% of computer users use Windows OS, and to protect the software from being hacked or cracked to work without QTL or even worse inject malware, Markus's primary goal is to deliver a safe trading tool to the masses that requires QTL to use it.

Go download VirtualBox for OSX, then you can run any Windows Software inside a Windows VM on your Mac. You will need to license or hack your way into Windows. But it will work. I run Mac OSX on a Windows machine in VirtualBox.

You know, if you don't like this coin, you are free to move on.  We all get that there are other programs and coins.  If this is not for YOU, then move on and have fun.  Multiple postings about what else is out there is essentially saying you think everyone here is really dumb and unable to look around for themselves.  That speaks volumes about you and contributes nothing here.  There is sometimes more to being a part of a project like this than just saying someone else does it too.  If everyone tried nothing because other people and ideas were out there, nothing new would ever appear.

I too looked around at Bots and software that was out there and decided it would be more fun to help create this one.  So, please, be creative and contribute, or just move on!

Ok, no more soap box!  I know you all can decide for yourselves!

oops, i posted this in the other thread too but...

There appear to be a bug where the settings are "sticking" in ways i do not want them to... i change entry settings (place bid x satoshis under highest bid) but it continues to try placing orders at the same place prior to the change..

Please make "sticking settings" optional as I personally do not desire nor use this feature, and it seems to be causing some issues for me.

Thank you

Think i found the issue.. nothing to do with stickiness after all. So in  In cex tab, Satoshis below/above top bid.. it appears to be using the value from the Ask box above as when i change the value in that box as well(I have only the Bid box checkmarked), it works .

My internet connection is perfect (fiber optic, I can leave HD video streams etc. open all day without glitches)  and I still have this problem. Auto retry connection is required rather than a halt of trading.

It might not be your connection. API endpoints might not respond due to a number of reasons.
