I thought I knew which board that was, but I can't seem to find it right now. Another one you might consider is this one.

What I really want to know is, how do you secure the fan on top of the video cards? Surely it isn't just lying there?!?

Yes its just laying there on top Smiley

And it doesn't move around and eventually fall off?

No not at all surprisingly, its been like that for 2 days now no issues.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Obviously this is on my kitchen counter. My major block to expanding further is power consumption. I have multiple investors lined up but I would have to get some sort of facility to house them in that would keep them cool and power them without burning down.

this just got here 3 hours ago
omg!!
Sapphire is gonna be rich!!)) I think they sold all of their radeons 58xx))
ps... maybe our community should write a letter to Sapphire and ask them to produce more 58xx devices?))
pps... i wonder what is in the second box in the top right corner??

I was wondering where the rest of them went.  I got 8 and went back for more and they were gone...I almost bought 10 more.

Anyone checked Sapphire stock lately...I hope someone bought some with some of the bitcoin money...they had to have gone up.  If not they will be posting a good quarter.

This is one of my rigs... the ghettoest one.  Yes, the top card is laying on top of two more.  There's a stick of foam near the back of it so it's not directly touching the other cards, just laying on top of them.  No, the top PCIe slot in the motherboard doesn't work.  Yes, the middle card gets very warm.

Oh, and the fan is for sale, I have two of them.  I'll find another way to cool it if someone wants to buy it off me.

I'd like to point everybody here to the awesomeness of plastic crates.

They have holes in them -> airflow
they are perfectly stackable -> win
Putting you equipment on the floor is just asking for trouble -> fire

I mean it guys. Your equipment is all very awesome, but please take care of you, yourself and your house by not letting stuff burn.

This is what I am setting up. Need to find a way to put the PSU in there without it blowing the warm air into the crate.

The white thing is a vertical-fan which is awesome for stacking 3 or 4 crates.

I'm Still waiting for my motherboards to arrive, and when they do they will sit under the GPU's (I built two of those Kinex frames). The frames are actually strong enough to support being picked up  Grin Also sorry for the huge image.

Are you referring to the photos of the green case that he quoted? (my post) If so, I used my iPhone 4 with HDR on.

What's on those 2 HD's? If this is a dedicated rig, I'd advice using LinuxCoin from an USB thumbdrive. Its awesome!

- 250GB HDD has Ubuntu 11.04 Desktop x64. I'm switching it to 10.04 Server x64 soon though.
- 3TB HDD is used for network backup. I'm going to create a Samba share and backup my main desktop (Win 7, i7 920, etc) to this drive over my LAN.

I actually purchased a 32GB USB flash drive to run this rig driveless. I ended up not doing so since I found an old drive lying around. Though if I end up picking p a MyOpenPC case - I'll swap to driveless just to save room.

I've heard that Ubuntu persistence is nice - but that it can be slow at times.

I'm going to say, this is the most awesome use of K'Nex i've ever seen. Kudos to you
