I found some change for a second donation:
https://blockchain.info/tx/5e55fa7264510fcc58cfe570c4353e7739e8b0ae7e3596a9a02a92a268943d86

Everyone, please help out with what you have! The coin makes progress, but should no one be aware of it...?

And if you do not got cash, why not help crowetic submitting the PR to the list I posted?  Time is money too, and with a large community willing to put in some hours BURST would not be broke.

Hello,

I'm uncertain if it will be of some help, but I will re-post the tweet list of BURST's undervaluation I worked on this summer. If you think it may support the coin, please re-tweet and spread the words. I think I read here that a member, Elmit, had an account with many followers, and with a thread this long there should be more people who can just do some clicking.

My account is https://twitter.com/karl_perkin

It will take some time to sort and update the tweets, but I will let you know when I start posting.

Warm regards,
Karl

Hi Karl,

Of course it will benefit BURST if you do that, it's a fine idea. I follow you on Twitter and enjoy and re-tweet most of your posts. You offer great news stories so I don't need to check all the sites myself Wink I love that you started include important excepts from articles but it would be great if you concentrated a bit more on BURST again.  Grin

Kind regards,
Yep

Community, you with Twitter accounts, make sure to follow Karl - and those of you who do not have an account, register one and make sure to follow Karl Smiley It's a great way to keep updated on what's happening in the crypto world and with BURST.

To look at a coin's value short term is of course silly, but it's still nice to notice that BURST now trades at 42sats at poloniex, that's up 13 percent today and little larger volume than the last weeks - and that's before people know about the new program Smiley

Someone seems to want to keep the trading below 55sat as there is a little 3BTC buy-wall placed there. Speculating now but could be someone who wants to accumulate cheap.  Wink

Nice work, crowetic (or if you got some help?) - the first press release is out. bitteaser.com just published "New Way to Use Blockchain Technology"  Smiley

https://www.bitteaser.com/press-releases/?title=new-way-to-use-blockchain-technology

https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/40873-bitteaser-new-way-to-use-blockchain-technology/

Edit,
Hmmm, different content....?

BURST got Smart Contracts (AT)

This continues to be one of the main issues. The community loves to tell us what to do, and for some reason thinks that we're sitting on a ton of cash...

BURST was not premined, had no IPO, and was done out of the dev's desire to release a coin in the fashion everyone always says they want...

BUT... if you look at other coins that WERE premined, or DID have IPO, they seem to be what? MORE WELL KNOWN! You know why? BECAUSE THEY HAD MONEY!

None of us on the core team get paid for doing anything we do. We are doing it becuase we SUPPORT THE COIN, and we want it to SUCCEED.

We were just community members in the beginning, and we joined the team because we thought we could get some structure behind the coin to help with all the necessary items of work.

WE CONSTANTLY ENCOURAGE PEOPLE to contact us, give us ideas, do your OWN ideas, promote the coin on your own, etc etc...

but sadly, hardly anyone does.

Sitting here and waiting for US to make YOU rich, isn't going to work. In order for a coin to be successful, people have to go out and TALK ABOUT IT! USE IT! TELL PEOPLE WHAT IT CAN DO! MAKE SERVICES THAT USE IT!

There are so many things the community can do...

But sitting there doing nothing, and not even being willing to contribute to the promotion and development financially, all while waiting to become rich from other people's work (that are working for FREE, for YOU) just is a really shitty way of doing things.

But this, alas, is what we're dealing with in the BURST community, for some reason. Everyone thinks they can just mine and hold and sit there and do nothing, and everything will happen magically. (or by my hands?)

I can only do so much, and I have a company to run, and a day job (because I need money and working solely for BURST simply isn't an option right now, as we all know.) So expecting me to make you rich is a pipe dream, unless you're thinking maybe in years from now, once a single person can dedicate enough.

Sorry, I had to get this off my chest.

I disagree with that!
To have money is a benefit, but to have no money is not an obstacle!

What should be done now is a massive promotion of small supporters of this community.
Karl started well, but at that time I was busy and could not support him. I am busy again, but can put some time aside now.

My suggestion:
BURST has many features, pick ONE at a time! Like the windows wallet!
Prepare 15 DIFFERENT tweets! with a hashtag for that benefit.

Ask everyone  here and on the burstforum to RE-TWEET all they find with this hashtag. Ask for re post on facebook, plurk, ....
Make a graphic or just a picture of that feature, post it at Facebook (yes, twice, with and without picture), Instagram, Google+, ...
Use a Google shortener to make sure Google is indexing that blog page!

Do some strange things, like I saw once:
Offer 100 BURST to everyone who repost the Facebok picture with the text within the next 24 hours, if you have 500 followers. Proof it with a screen shot that you have posted on time, or become a friend to  my facebook, then I get the proof directly to my facebook account.

Except the last one, all is free!!!!

The only point is to do that coordinated, all to the same feature, for one week. Then move on to the next feature, ....

Bought 0.05 BTC worth today and put some buy orders at lower prices, to keep me interested in this coin. I've found some info about it at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1153740.0 but please check if all data listed there is correct. I reed somewhere Burst is based on NXT so how closely it is following NXT development and code?

Not an obstacle...? Please, are you aware of that the PR company that all major coins use for press releases, and from where the media picks most of their news, charge $400 for their least expensive offer? http://bitcoinprbuzz.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Bitcoin-PR-Buzz-Services.pdf

Your ideas are not bad, I'm not saying that, but they are simply complimentary to get proper recognition in the larger crypto community.

Of course it's an obstacle that Burst can't use the same company and at least be read of the all the media editors. That's simply not something you can "disagree" with. 400 dollars is 400 dollars.

My advice is to completely ignore lack of cryptocommunity interest and continue supporting this coin by mining or buying it. No one really gives a damn about PR releases anymore. On top of that it is still summer and people are generaly uninterested in investing in anything except stupid ETH (they'll regret it later, of course). And there are just too many coins so unless you've made a deal with Facebook or some other major company no one will really care.

this just cost to me few seconds so count with me to do that.

also maybe will be good if we revive the irc channel in any way.

Good advice. I prefer a bottom-up approach. We attract people to mine and trade this coin. Burst is every Bitcoin miner's dream - they just don't know it yet Cheesy. Everybody can be part of  this decentralized network with an old machine with free diskspace. It's not ASIC resistant, it's ASIC proof. The network will stay decentralized. There is no special hardware needed to mine. Your electricity bill won't skyrocket.

here are so many good reasons to support this coin. I'm not a big fan of feeding the crypto-news-networks with btc. We have to use the donated money as efficient as possible.

Yeah, the coin is great Smiley But how the hell will people know that it is great? How will you get them mining? To think about power bills? Start reading about it?

To not be a fan of paying for certain services per se is stupid. The principle to follow is of course to look at it as an investment, e.g., the coin must gain value/recognition/etc comparable to what is paid. If it's not, one should not pay. If it's, it's a pretty damn good investment to pay. I'm not saying 400 dollars is worth it, but one should evaluate the option with an open-mind.

Now... How much media attention has Burst gotten the last 6 months or so when no-one has put out PRs...? I remember when CCN even compared Burst with ETH. Do you think CCN read this tread to see that smart contracts are implemented?

Talking of ETH, it's surely possible to make fun of all the hype. But pretty much everyone in the crypto world knows about it. I firmly believe they will fail, but I have nevertheless traded the coin, made money and contributed to the fact it is the most traded coin on poloniex, giving it more attention.

Has the last 6 months of buttom-up worked...?

Miners are turning their machines off, god dammit!

The program is great, you have done an awesome job, but remember the "ACCT accident". Two coins did something completely revolutionary, but what happened? Nothing.

Technology is not fair. Beta was better than VHS. Windows is not the most used OS because it's the best. ETH isn't huge because they have the tech for it. Man, the naivety and idealism are staggering if you think a program no-one knows exists will turn this around...

If the network size would turn upwards again, it will be due to the work crowetic is doing now in combination with your program.

Btw, did you notice how many have watched the video so far? 122, including me twice. Sensational. Really sensational.

I still disagree to your stand, we cannot do any promotions, because we do not have 400 dollars.

Great! So all people of this forum have seen the video (half of them twice)
I guess all of them KNEW it already before.
More important is:
How many people did you tell it, and how many of them watched the video? --- or why not watched it?
