Dollars getting cheaper now.  The local price of steam remains constant measured in magic beans. Steam in Iceland, however, does not.  On my premises the xmr supply factor tracks the mining-weighted cost of steam, while the demand factor presently remains negligible.

Cool New York facts: Every once in a while some steam pipe from the 19th or early 20th century explodes, blasting chunks of tarmac into the air.  Either no one has been killed in this way in the 10 years I've been frequenting the city, or it is just not notably reported, as it isn't "news".  An example of the latter negative effect:  ~20 Manhattanites get killed by stray voltage each year when touching signal poles or street lamps, but this is definitely not news, just a consequence of stratified layers of decaying transmission circuitry dating back to the era of Edison and Tesla. If I ran the place I would put a dome over it.  Not sure about doors though.

Where were you on August 19, 1989?

I know where I was.  Walking on 21st Street just west of Third Avenue.  A roaring sound began and I started running.
A funny thing I remember about the "explosion."  It didn't have a percussive beginning, like a bang.  One second everything was normal, and the next there was a huge roar.  The sound just sort of... was there.  It sounded like a jet plane.
When that pipe ruptured, I was one short block away.

This is pretty interesting to say the least... Looks like from the last "pump" we had, it gained +.0003 within a couple hours before it dropped back down again.  This might be theoretically a level of resistance and makes people feel a little bit uneasy when it sky rockets this much in such a short amount of time.

Edit:  Just saw this posted on poloniex... some guy has made a pretty good comparison of the Eth & XMR charts over time that makes XMR look like it's about to go to the moon  Shocked

Could you please explicit the relation between steam price and xmr supply?

You must read between the lines between the lines between the lines...

Oh, and check a few posts back for a clue.

Well i am looking for the free mining software from which i can easily mine the Monero with the usage of CPU speed. I cant afford to deposit money on the online mining sites. So if you know any one best for CPU mining then please help me to get the same and start mining easily.

For CPU it's either this one :https://github.com/LucasJones/cpuminer-multi
or this one: https://github.com/wolf9466/cpuminer-multi

I think wolf's version is a bit faster.

Absolutely amazing... and I think this is a way more defined governance model than any other crypto has including Bitcoin's (if Bitcoin even has a "governance" model).

But quick question though, I thought Shen was apart of the core team?  I didn't see NobleSir on the core team list... or maybe he is just a paid contributor that has extensive knowledge in CT?

Polo got its groove back in time for the ETH party.  Thank you XMR.

But if Polo doesn't step up and enable fiat I/O ASAP, we should start lobbying Kraken to list Monero.

The sooner I can get Shift-type XMR-->plastic the better.   Cool

Being a grown up typically implies to be polite to a reasonable extent. Your opinion is welcomed, but could you try not to insult everyone all the time? It would also be in your interest as it would give more weight to whatever you want to say.

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's.
This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

One has to be a complete moron to compare AUR and ETH in any way...
