First time I can remember seeing XMR and BTC rising at the same time.  A critical downward trend line going back to the ATH of May 2014 has been broken on very strong volume. Right now my take is that all bets are off as to what can happen next. Weird timing this happened just when I got a cash influx today. Primer, how you feeling buddy?  Could primer be the person who shorted? If so I am really worried for his well being. Market is responding to some of Shen's work and ETH profits are flowing in for now to ride, but I personally think that a new base will come out of all this. We could see an end of the 0.001 era for good measure.

Taleb's warning about "picking up pennies in front of steamroller" comes to mind. Are you they guy that insists on putting 1000s of XMR up for the minimum rate of 0.0001%? |

Aren't you curious to discover the maximum lending rate the market will bear, especially in this current big green spike? Charging less than what people are willing to pay seems like altruism, as you are undercutting your own potential profit. |

My rates sure are a little bit below the markets now but they are still decent. Obviously when you have a sudden spike like this while you are sleeping it is hard to try to maximize it. Also attempting to maximize profits is not necessarily a prudent thing to do if it means you also miss the opportunity completely. In the markets there is a supply and demand and I am lending out at the rate I am satisfied, nothing less nothing more. |
