Survived the first attack on 0.007 but it's going to have to hold at least once or twice more today - my guess is it won't be able to and we will move to 0.0065 for a while before testing 0.006 in about 4-6 hours from now

It all depends on what btc does

Starting to look pretty sick...only 1100 btc worth of xmr in buy in polo and half a million xmr on sell side

But what would aminorex do?

He picked a wrong time to go on a around the world cruise...last words I noticed from him was basically anything under 0.0188 is a buying opportunity. So would this be the sell your house and buy monero moment???

He usually disappears after the pumps are over. Either because he's depressed over the money he's losing or he has the decency to stfu after successfully scamming the noobs into buying his bags.

Well FANBOYS!!! Admit it!! Adolf was right! N-rG was right! PID was right! BitcoinMagazin was right!
You ignored them, you insulted them and me! That's what you got haha! You got scammed!!!

How does it feel? And you tried to scam me too with you praying buy buy buy buy!!

Thank's for all honest members who made it possible to me to increase my BTC three times by shorting xmr. I closed it at 0.0065 and i am pretty pretty happy!!! I was motivated to go long now. I dont know if i do this because last days was horrible i was so nervous. I need a break for some days or maybe i will go long today Smiley

Thank you so so much!! (i dont mean you fanboys!!)

And it is totally useless to ask here if long i now a good strategie. Because you'll always say BUY BUY BUY. I'm so exicited to tripled my money just like this Smiley never listen to the 90%...it is written in every book. Thats why i listend to the few here who warned for XMR.

After the 2013 bubble bitcoin did not start to recover until the weekly 200 MA was tested for nine months.

Context : BTC was > 6 years old at that time. How did it look for previous BTC bubbles with the weekly 200MA, when BTC was same age as XMR ?
Please explain why you would look at the weekly 200MA for an asset the age of XMR. Either I don't understand (very possible) or it is a pretty irrelevant comparison unless.
I think I am going to need some charts to understand your point please.

Go to bitcoinwisdom, put up a 200 MA on a weekly MtGox BTC/USD chart and you will see the weekly 200 MA worked for earlier bitcoin bubbles. XMR just tested the daily 200 MA.

I'm buying some now after I sold a bunch at $7.30. Seems to be good long term investment.

Actually i was not right, i did not expect it to crash this badly, both i and N-rG overstimated xmr. I only profited about 0.2BTC from xmr in general, but at least i did not lose money unlike most idiots here.

Looks like i may have missed a buying opportunity(0.006), will remove the buy-order, could go down again a lot more.

I hope you put a 10% stop loss on your long, I doubt that Monero has bottomed yet with Bitcoin on the rise. Next support level if .0058 does not hold is .0043.

I think this is just a momentary bounce, 0.006 will be tested again today.

You were right, i keep thinking "i missed the bottom" and it keeps going down even more. Removed a buy-order at 0.063 seconds before it was too late Grin

Well guys... hmm, some weekend so far, eh?  Never a dull moment 'round here in crypto-land LOL

As a little distraction from this Great Halloween ALT Massacre Of 2016™ just thought I'd throw this out there for something to think about...

1. Bitcoin back on the rise as the Belle Of The Ball, again, and alt-coin money flowing back to the Mothership?

2. Thus maybe new ATH coming soon for Honey Badger on the strength of Chinese Yuan devaluation yet again and/or maybe finally finally finally SOME break of the block-size stalemate, chinese miners actually maybe gonna make the move to BU???

3. Number #1 and #2 maybe leading to Winki ETF approval (soon™?) and thus mega-epic flow of Wall Street Money into bitcoin, market cap quickly going from 10 Billion to conservatively maybe 50 Billion?

4. Pirate Party in Iceland possibly on the verge of winning political power this weekend, on partial strength of their policy to make Bitcoin an "official" currency of a real, honest to God, actual country's legal government?

5. Number #3 50 Billion Market Cap and #4 about Bitcoin in Iceland leading to implementation of Speculative Attack (http://nakamotoinstitute.org/mempool/speculative-attack/) and HyperBitcoinization (http://nakamotoinstitute.org/mempool/hyperbitcoinization/) scenario...?

Anyone seeing this play out this way or am I just in fantasyland yet again? LOL

I can not imagine that anyone is surprised with the nosedive in prices. Zcash is obviously going to dominate the anon coins even though it has a lot of issues. This goes to show you that marketing > technology for alt coins. I will be waiting for what I feel is the bottom and probably buying up some XMR for long term. This coin has a good dev team and solid technology behind it...just lacks the obvious GUI and marketing.

My guess is .005 is the bottom.
