I think we are at an ATH right now? I particularly like the fact that it is moving without correlation to BTC and other cryptos, and rather based on the news for the project itself. For me it shows that it is not just an speculative asset, but rather, a project with strong fundamentals and insane potential. As for the people here who bought at 25 cents, boy, I hate and envy you !! There were not many that bought at that time. Trust me. 2015 was dark times in Monero, many lost their hopes. I bought only few coins at that time. But kept all i bought a year before at much higher price. There were dark times in whole crypto space, so little hope for everyone. Totally different then today when price increase 20% a month and people complain. Holy Jesus of God! So what's the news? I'm sure it's more than just because of it's technical merits. Is XMR finally becoming the official cryptocurrency of the darknet?
Monero is technical coin. So I am sure it this potential new RuffCT is a reason for this price catching up.

Either the network is broken or polo is insolvent.
No coins have gotten out of there in around 4 hours. Wonder how that rush on their funds has affected them...
More likely their hot wallet is empty and needs to be refilled (but that doesn't rule out they could also be insolvent, I just have seen no real evidence of it) The network is not broken, although there is a backlog of transactions. Sure, Smells like foul play either way. They can easily afford to up their transactions fees to get their hot wallet refilled though. 6 hours and counting....

As for the people here who bought at 25 cents, boy, I hate and envy you !! Well, I was lucky to buy more 10000 monero in the sub $1 price range. But I sold almost all of it for $2-3 to lock in the profits. It hurts to think that I would almost be a millionaire by now if I would have kept all of them. However, I almost dumped all of them near the bottom, because I was losing money when the price was decreasing for months. So I cannot really complain after all. I'm sure this bull market won't last forever either, so there will be a lot of buying opportunity for everyone who missed this chance.

When i´ll have liquidity to get some more coins:) But if Monere really lives up to his potential the cheap coins buying opportunities will be scarser.

Mhh maybe, but I would not bet on a dip. Koreans are FOMO masters. Also the volume on Bithumb and this price rise will push the awareness for Monero further. ETH went up and never went down again, this will happen with XMR too because there are real fundamentals behind the project.

Still on target.

Selling? Idiots.
If they don't understand at this point, they're doomed to regret when checking the price in 18 months.

Just imagine if Monero got onto Coinbase. But i think it is way overpriced as it stands now.

Given the current market, Monero is way underpriced. It deserves to be above Litecoin for sure. In fact, the only projects that I consider to warrant a higher market cap are Bitcoin and Ethereum.

I see what you did there. Of course investing in XMR since it was 25c a pop means we are a little less intelligent and we just got lucky it rose over 2500% in 2016 and is set for massive DNM adoption, Soon™ I hope someone can help us with our inability to find the BEST COIN there is... Meh... Who on earth wants financial privacy anyway? TLDR? Monero: Crouching tiger, hidden dragon. Privacy is precious. My chasing the dragon longing at 190 and all the way down finally paid off but it was real hairy especially when polo screwed me on the rates during the split. That cost me over 50%. But I'm happy I stuck it out. I did have to close it today though. LOL, yeah and did you follow this prediction as well? https://www.tradingview.com/chart/XMRBTC/1KFjXhr8-Monero-Kill-it-with-fire/Boom!
Love to start the day with green candles.... Hello Monero, enjoyed your holiday?
Impressive week-end! I'm curious now if this trend will continue or we'll see a correction, especially when America will wake up. I wouldn't mind though to see it grow to 0.02 and beyond I hope it levels here for awhile I still only hold a small amount. Don't worry, alot of us were not able to be in for the massive spike. Money makes money and sometimes real life shit happens and if you have to temporally liquidate expecting to get back in sometimes the timing can fuk you over bad! Holy Jesus of God! So what's the news? I'm sure it's more than just because of it's technical merits. Is XMR finally becoming the official cryptocurrency of the darknet?
IMO it is a direct response to that moron on prime time that says to hold XMR. Most his other choices are shit. Average Joe investor doesn't even know (or even care) what bloat or ring sigs are. Jesus as soon as we hit some action it's impossible to keep up with this thread. Lol BBL Looking nice again Br0's

But i think it is way overpriced as it stands now.
Then with all due respect you're in the minority. Careful consideration of Monero's entire holistic fabric would indicate massive underpricement by a factor of almost ten. A two-billion market cap is frankly pretty conservative. All of the social telemetry points to Monero being the third largest socio-industrial force in the cryptospace after only Bitcoin and Ethereum, and in some cases actually is on a parallel with Ethereum (IRC metrics for example.) The speed and verocity of today's rise has all the hallmarks of an upward correction. The question everyone's been asking is this: If Monero is a number three coin, when why is it's market cap so low? The answer is because the majority of the money currently flowing into the cryptospace stems from technophobic venture capitalists; people who want to go deep on Monero, but don't feel comfortable figuring out the CLI/GUI when they're currently making returns of 400%-800% on assets that they can use in conjunction with hardware wallets. The moment that Monero is on a hardware wallet is the moment this conflict will cease and the real upward correction will come into being. Everybody knows this. However, you can't have your cake and eat it. The issue for technophobic venture capitalists is how do they take advantage of the current low price while not being able to use hardware wallets. Unfortunately, that's something they're going to have to figure out for themselves, but the help is out there if they're willing to make the leap.

Agreed on this and in particular the new range correction. Luckily I had a few sells laddered up to 024, and was able to re-buy most of them in the 019s. I just can't cash out... Keep promising myself I will, but well, you know.... Monero. It's just too good. The best thing is it's always just after some trolls have stopped by. Best indicator there is.
