Hello, how many moneros do you have in your wallet? I have 10 XMR and I am waiting to sell them, I am not in a hurry to sell them but if any of you can guide me and tell me at what price I should sell? regards
assuming you don’t need that money for everyday expenses, hold them for 5 years and sell them for 7-10,000 USD I have mining equipment at home doing 10,000h / s of XMR, I calculate that each month about 2 XMR, at the end of 2018 I calculate that I will have 18 XMR ... I can wait 1 more year to see if the price goes up ...

Interesting slide about the cryptocurrencies Bitmain claims to hold in the context of their IPO: https://twitter.com/Excellion/status/1028426579158884352Monero isn't explicitly mentioned, although Bitmain probably used to mine monero with their Antminer X3 I think. Perhaps off-topic here, but I think it's also interesting to point out that they acquired 179,450 BCC between 31-DEC-17 and 31-MAR-18. That's more than the total amount of bcc that have come into circulation in that period Like half million XMR was mined in time that Bitman mined Monero with ASIC. At best if not sold any could get half of that half million. But for sure they have plenty of XMO In the recent IPO report of Bitmain, it seems Bitmain does not have mined any Monero. They could have them under other crypt currencies. In any case I doubt there is any bigger amount in Bitmans holdings. On other hand right now is time for anyone rich to grab some bigger amount of Monero holdings. i'm starting a PUMP FUND for promoters...whos with me? /\xmr===>choo choo

I am usually quite phlegmatic. But since I still believe Bitcoin had not seen bottom and what happened in past week when few % of Bitcoins decline was followed by 15% decline of Monero and other alts. I am just wondering how it will look when Bitcoin bottoms. Maybe even my speculation of $50 that Monero cant go below could be endangered. But as always after rain sun starts shining. SoonTM.

any guesses where monero bottoms?
Long term seems Bitcoin is following 2014. Almost identical, since dates are similar. Bitcoin went then approximately from 1200 to 200. So if next year will continue as last half year did then we might have $3500 Bitcoin at some point and on average not much higher at start of next year. You can imagine where will Monero be. So there is your bottom. I dont predict this, but there is still possibility. I do hope and expect Bitcoin will recover faster then last time. If you are asking in upcoming weeks, then it is ofcourse way higher. OK, while writing it makes me think. I call that Monero will not go under $50. Most of time will stay way over that but should not go under this number ever. If that hunk Romero goes back to $50 I will probably jizz my pants. Jus sayin’.Edit: I think I just now realized that I have a lot of complex emotional attachments to XMR. Anyone that looks forward to Monero hitting $50 again can just fuck right off. If you'll pardon my French. Ok, obviously you (and probably others) misunderstood my point so let me try and explain. I'm just your average lurker and always have been... no sort of technical knowledge about computers or day trading, so take what I have to say with a grain of salt... I will probably do a horrible job of trying to portray my point. But just think when Monero was hanging around the $50 mark. I remember it being right around a year ago and was listening to Fluffy's lovely sermon of false hopes at Chapel de Monero and people freaked the fuck out. Anyways, I remember that it had just gotten to like $50 or so during the big pump before the Monero Enterprise Alliance announcement. The GUI was hot'n fresh still and everyone was able to wash it down with a tantalizingly delicious glass of Barolo like fucking gentlemen. This was only a year ago.I'm digressing, but my point is that corrections are normal and why not embrace dumps when they come around? If people are honestly stupid enough to dump a significant (>50%) portion of their XMR holdings during a generalized crypto correction because of concerns of their short term profits and not seing the big picture, you should capitalize on it. The GUI for XMR along with other "announcements" about Monero, such as being used on dark web markets, was revolutionary back then for speculators. We pumped, dumped, almost had a community civil war and the pony supposedly had multiple major threats from random people on the Internet. This was all done in a matter of like a month. The story of this project and other cryptocurrencies moves super fucking quick and it's hard to keep up with for the average person (like myself). Where we are now in terms of actual coding progress (from what I can gather/other knowledgeable people say) is monumentally more substantial in terms of keeping Monero fuandmental more secure/resource friendly/and yes, private. Also the community has gotten so big, it's pretty impressive. Hardware wallets, mobile wallets, sexy black themed GUI wallets, bullet proofs, multisig, Kovri soon™, constant development and fresh ideas on how to improve the code coming from MRL and dank ass memes from MEA. Oh you want a Katy Perry poster? Let me suggest you use Monero via Globee so you can hide the fact that you want to buy a god damned Katy Perry poster. There are probably more things I'm forgetting or just haven't seen yet because I don't have as much free time as I once had to keep up with the ongoing news. But again, I'm just a lurker and don't really have much knowledge on how to draw fancy lines on graphs and tell you how you can retire in 5 years or how to put the pussy on the new Tari chainwax. ... Excuse me while I go fuck right off to the thought of being able to grab more XMR at the $50 price point knowing that it's so much more fundamentally sound now than we even dreamed it would be just only a year ago.
SoonTM.
The couple empty bags I still have lying around from the time I cashed out a little at $50 are ready to be filled again. But in all seriousness, I hope people look at these opportunities and take advantage of them. Reasons are included above the header... there is so much active development that is constantly happening from two years ago, it's head spinning... and we are going back to prices that was in 2016.

Not sure how much upside is left shorting, not much I would think. I'm long.

Not sure how much upside is left shorting, not much I would think. I'm long. Yes, it looks like we had a (local) double bottom in the past few days around the 0.13 level. But of course if Bitcoin is mirroring 2014 / 2015 (as it may be) and decides to dip much further - it's tough to predict what all the alts will do. My sentiment agrees with yours; that is that in XMR/BTC I think we are unlikely to go lower, in fact I think a little upside is now on the cards. I think a spike up is due from now /late August into Sept. Mainly because this time of year has 'history' for Monero. A really big rise in XMR/USD will need Bitcoin to end its bear market. I hope this will not need to wait until the next halving, but who knows....

Looks like .015 is going to be a technical AND psychological resistance.
I think all of crypto is waiting to see once again if we have found the third bottom.

Monero is a very strong coin, but the General situation of the market does not fully understand the potential of this project. We wait and hope for the best.
Many of my friends understands the potential of Monero. They are starting to buy it gradually.

Hy guys, RSI is on the floor around 20 so i would suggest that end of August until mid of September we reach RSI 80 or slightly above which means a price increase of 5 to 6 times of the bottom. If we say RSI 20 at 0,0128 then we will land somewhere between 0,064 to 0,0768 at RSI 80 If you are a noholder of Monero until know, this would be a very good point for getting in

I think this will become more and more common. Many Bitcoiner's seem to be pro-Monero in private, but shy away from public endorsement.
As it stands it seems intellectually dishonest to say that Bitcoin will be the end all for crypto. Glad to see Roger leading the way.

Eth is proving time and a gain what a hyped POS coin it has always been and when the miners leave the price will just continue down the shitter as the Scam ICO's get shut down. So it should naturally turn people attention to solid projects such as this one. I think this will become more and more common. Yeah, there are too many koolaid drinkers that will Dog pile you if you even suggest Bitcoin is not the perfect piece of software that can never in the future of all mankind be improved upon.

I like this coin. It seems to me that this coin has a great future, because most people are interested in anonymous coins and want to keep anonymity on the Internet.
