XMR was added on exchange Tokens.net, same founders as Bitstamp.

Not really a big volume, but still better then nothing.

Somewhere out there it went like this:

T Leader:  XMR looking cheap, but let's get it cheaper. In this volume, it looks simple enough.
2nd in C:  We're going in?
T Leader:  We'll dump it first, find the bottom. I doubt we can drop it under $100, but let's see.
2nd in C:  Understood.
T Leader:  Tell the trolls
2nd in C:  After the dump?
T Leader:  You know the drill, wait a few days
2nd in C:  I'll get them ready.
T Leader:  Only pay them until 24 hours before we go in, that'll do it.  Just while we accumulate a little after the dump, to keep morale low on the threads, irritate a little. Throw in a little fud if you can find any.
2nd in C:  Sure, I will sort it. Those scum will do anything for a few sats a post.

(maybe..)

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

yes. it is really a good news. Adding XMR into such a big wallet is a huge thing.. I am sure lots of new people will be able to use XMR more easily . and also it's a great thing for security point of view also. now XMR coins can be used with more safety and it'll probably increase value of XMR.

Well, talking about good news. There was expected that withdrawal fees will reduce on exchanges. in rate like 10 times or even more on some but what Bittrex just did is insane. they reduced it few 100 times. Their fee is 0.0001 XMR or one cent. LOL

https://twitter.com/BittrexExchange/status/1055529461809061888

This is insane and they will put immense pressure on other exchanges.   Also they will lose money when there will be sudden spikes in number of transactions if they will want to proceed withdrawals on time. Not sure if they are aware of that or will be a surprise for latter. Tongue

They can also batch transactions to save on fees by for example using a 16 output transaction for multiple users. After BP a significant part of the tx weight on the input side.

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

Yes I was already corrected. And even without batching there should be apparently max 2 cent fee.

English man, speak english! Tongue

Take the withdrawals of 15 users and create 1 16 output transaction instead of 15 2 output transactions to save on fees.

For all currencies that support it, batch transactions are proving to be the most efficient way to lower transaction costs. It lowers the costs for the exchanges and as a consequence leads to lower fees for all and a much greater liquidity.

I would not have imagined that moving Monero would cost so little in the short term.

Will it be easier to use Monero with Trezor T than the Ledger Nano?

It is a more modern device. Bigger and with touchscreen. What Trezor developer said is that at this point Trezor should offer more privacy to users then Ledger. I dont really know details. But since is more modern Trezor T is also more expensive.  Beside that is not much different. If you already using Ledger then I dont think Trezor T will be much easier to use. If you are new user then Trezor T should be better and easier choice.

I agree. It seems I will use the Bittrex as my main XMR trading site to take advantage the low fee.
