I've been trying to crack a block for what seems like forever. Even doing so as a group seems like a pipe dream at this point and I wonder if it's even possible haha. I'm definitely interested in participating in future endeavors at this if given that opportunity.

This is a lot of work.

But  I have  2 farms I control

One has 560-590 th

other has 1100-1150th

total is about 1.70ph 

I get paid 0.00001761 a th x 1700 or about 0.029937btc a day that is  0.089811

nicehash  would be .0000202   or about 0.03434 a day that is  0.10302 for 3 days

If I did a 3 day rental of my gear  at  0.000019  x 1700  =   0.0323 x 3 =  .0969  the renter would save about 0.00612

I would make an extra 0.007089

your shot would be  about 140  to one for a block  at a cost of 0.0969 btc

You should look at the MRR market place nice hash can be a serious pain when the bidding wars start also I found that rentals go much further on https://www.miningrigrentals.com/ and there's a good chance of being credited back some funds for each rental you do if the speed is not 100% on point which I though was quite a nice touch from them.

they also have the affiliate system (wink wink) for some extra $$$ back when renting.
