Be positive, constructive and you will see better profits for you and the ones around you. And if you really don't like "waiting".. then go and help barwizi. If you really want the trust you initially put over the GF. Go and help debug the code for example. But do something positive...

I don't have anything against any of you. But, be positive and helpful. Otherwise just use IRC or anything like that to chat and save tons of useless reading, by posting a final summary or conclusion with your opinions.

Regards and think about being evolutionary positive...

That is debug information not block solved. If it inds a block, it will start with the statement "bitcoin miner found new block"

how long have you been mining and with how many threads?

One more person like you and i will quit this project here and now.

it is ALPHA  for a reason

I am tired, this is starting to get ridiculous.

Barwizi, you're under a lot of stress and pressure development wise.  Don't go in circles with any one during this sensitive period. It's not worth it.

People knew they were investing in something yet-to-be-created. Something unproven. It may not work as planned. They have absolutely NO RIGHT whatsoever to demand things of an experimental technology.  They don't.

When I learned of the GF fund, I purposely did not invest, because I knew what it represented.  It was not definitive about what was going to happen and my investments were scarce enough that I didn't want to blindly take the plunge on a hope and a prayer.

Well some GF investors did exactly that, they simply got excited and threw their money into the pot hoping that while everyone else was doing it, it might yield something.

Now listen how stupid they sound, I quote:

We wait, we wait, we wait. We are still waiting. How long? A day? A week? A month? A year? At least you could have done something to compensate for the long waiting.

Long waiting?  Are you kidding me? NRS was announced around Feb 2014. It is still in its first year of development.  Most new businesses lose money the first year or two of start up.

Want to know why you're waiting even longer?  It's the tragedy of the commons problem (wikipedia)

Quote
Tragedy of the commons: It refers to individual behavior based on one's self-interest being contrary to the whole group's long-term best interests by depleting common resources

Here the common resources is Barwizi's energy, devotion, time to produce and develop things that can yield profits to all of the backers of NRS 2.0 and it's entire future.

Quite simply, barwizi spends more time going in circles with people in the forums than he does keeping his mind straight while coding, so everything takes longer.

So the very people demanding answers, are the very people that have actually caused Barwizi to threaten abandoning the project. How stupid is that?  BACK OFF and let him do his thing!  He's right in the middle of hard work.

If you would all just back right off, he'll get it done.   Give him the benefit of the doubt just awhile longer.

Note to barwizi, while we all love hearing from you directly, you are not the person that needs to go around in circles here with this stuff. Appoint a public relations person, and leave that type of circular debating to someone else.  You cannot burn the candle at both ends. It will lead to unneeded frustration and detract from development which you are really needed to focus on here.

These GF holders and other NRS investors have no idea that instead of seeing the yields and corrections they want, they are actually the exact same people that might be hurting their own investment, maybe even permanently by doing this..

Barwizi is fully aware of the issues. That's all you have to do is simply this:

1) On the forum, explain your issue, barwizi and other officers will read it, and take it into account

LEAVE BARWIZI ALONE TO HELP FINISH DEVELOPMENT (he's in alpha for crying out loud. There's plenty to work on)

He's already stated that he has full intentions on doing things that should be suitable to some of the complaints received here. But very few of him are giving him opportunities to address things while he's in alpha

The faster you all give him time to get NRS 2.0 operating properly, is the more chance you have of seeing this curve in your favor.

+1

I also think that some should be patient. Where many young people seem to be invested which have little experience with shares.

so, tell me my experience on Wall Street. how it works like this!
So I can tell you as an old hare, on Wall Street when you buy a penny stock for 0.001 U.S. dollars you can luck have and in a year you are rich when he is at a Dollar (unlikely) or bad luck if the startup company nothing brings. This is mostly so !!! Therefore, only as much as you can also lose invest! The first rule.

So I have time now I have purchased a company's shares for € 0.20 and less ... and now is the price at 5 euros .. I think these three years and I still hold. no I'm not a millionaire !!! Apple was once almost worthless !!!

You can do something for your investment, this is a unique opportunity. On Wall Street does not go that !!!!! Since you have the shares and can only hope !!!!

and to the guys not watch the your investment !!! Own fault !! On Wall Street, not every shareholder is personally informed !!! This is utopian !!! Because an investor bears the full risk of its investment !!! He alone decides where he invested !!!
and he can not be spamming the CEO if the CEO is building shit.! Guys this is your Invest your responsibility !!!!

Nobody  will you take this !!! In what world some people live here?

and those who invest somewhere, but does not understand what makes this company because he does not speak the language, or it simply does not understand !!

Sorry, what can I say !!! Own fault !!! It is his risk !!!!!

I can here really only shake my head!

it is not nice as it is but maybe it will be better! Smiley
So you can do something about it, do it!

some do not even seem to know that the Bitcoin for 2 years is less than one U.S. dollar was worth !!! The high $ 1250 almost a year ago, and there are real people who speak of a BTC crash in the forums ...  Cheesy

times to history, there were people who bought a pizza for 20,000 BTC ... what are they thinking about? is the BTC crashed? Wink

But sorry guys, 6 or 9 months is nothing ... No time. You want to be all most like in 3 months millionaires, so this does not live. Instead of complaining you should help the company move forward.

2 years BTC chart!!!

 change: +3407.60%      high: 1.163      low: 0.009

Frigga77,

You made an investment.
Stop crying about it.
I for one would of chalked it up to a loss and moved on long ago if that was how I felt.

I wont dissect what you have said, but the fact you think you deserve something when the block chains are merged because you are a GF holder is absolute nonsense.

UPDATE

Windows x64 version 0.2.2.1

Source Code

Grant system rewards fixed to make them sane.
Version update
Fixed socket issues between windows and unix

--------------Noted issues--------------------

Icons still need work so i am offering a 500 NRS bounty for a new icon set
Translations of OP Required
Voting and Lotto unresponsive , - this is a GUI issue, the underlying code has been tested and is functional. The next update will fix the Voting GUI. for now you need to execute this manually by sending coins to required address.
Need to recalculate lowest acceptable fees and minimum input

-------------------------------------------------

Weekend updates may come slower as i have a few things to take care of IRL but i will be putting in work when i can.

**NOTE**  UPDATE YOUR WALLET IMMEDIATELY or else you will end up on your own fork.

How to update

Unix-- git pull -> make

Windows -- Just download new client and run it

The new one automatically disconnects old clients to ensure that they are effectively cut off. This will solve the issue we faced with rogue client on the original chain.

MAC Users

1000 NRS bounty for a MAC build, i have never done one myself. I will be able to soon, but for now, NRS for grabs.

Frigga77,

You made an investment.
Stop crying about it.
I for one would of chalked it up to a loss and moved on long ago if that was how I felt.

I wont dissect what you have said, but the fact you think you deserve something when the block chains are merged because you are a GF holder is absolutely ignorant.

Nice way of saying take a hike, because otherwise I would endanger your investment Wink
Maybe, in the near future, you will remember my concerns and warnings. For now, I really hope that all of you will get the profit you are striving for. Be wise.

I would hazard a guess and say the majority have not updated yet as a result you cant find other up to date clients.

Try adding me

41.78.78.2

my connection is iffy so i'm having trouble updating the seeds, but i'll find a way.

Haven't synced here yet. Your Ip in the conf. Mining doesn't kick on either, probably 'cause of the lack of sync. Should I solo?
