This wallet won't sync. It won't accept old block chain data and hell if it is syncing in the last hour and a half.

I still don't understand why you guys don't allow exchanges to handle this..

Lol starts to download now.. 112k blocks to go.. Stressful situation.

I'm ready to just boycott this coin, always a headache.

It's not an exchange issue. Check your PMs and don't worry about the snapshot. Your exchange will likely convert your coins.

It's kind of stupid question, please forgive me if you think so.

yes, that is correct. multipool left the diffculty really high, noone  has soloed a block since.

The scripts are starting up now. should take an hour since they will first re-download the chain, make databases and produce a csv file.

I would advise against staking or trying to move anything now.

Is the config file located in the .../AppData/Roaming/Noirbits/ directory? Will it be bitcoin.conf?

Snapshots complete. We will now take the time to carefully integrate the relevant balances into the new chain.  Please note that addresses with below 1.0 balances will be ignored, since they will unnecesarilly bloat the first few blocks.

Full specs on the new chain will be posted in the next 12-24 hours.

Barwizi maybe is time to update your site http://www.noirds.com/ ?

You are quite right

We are restructuring to enable more user and investor control of NRS. Using Blockchain based voting, we want to get a community chosen management for a NRS as a currency/share and the DAC built with it. We hope to lure developer talent by introducing automatic payroll. This also coincides with the dividend payout to those who helped us set up.

Barwizi just can't be there to handle everything coding wise and as time passes and projects accumulate, we'll need people doing specifically assigned tasks, a position has been created to handle those issues. This falls under Marketing, so when you vote after the new chain is released, vote for a CMO that meets your expectations. All positions in the DAC are eligible for voting, including CEO, this is because once we are sure the software is stable, Barwizi will be stepping down. His job is managing and developing for the group, not a single platform.

As part of our restructuring strategy, the officer positions are increased by 2. We need as much help as we can get. Officers are incentivised by 1) the payment for services rendered 2) community will fire you if you are not being productive 3) The better they perform, the greater the value of their payout.

Wink

If all want it. I would offer myself for voting as an officer

Are you a part of the ORB Community or want to be it, then gives your vote! here!! One of the first 30 currencys in the World is Orbitcoin DEV Forum - don't forget free ORB's are here ORB Faucet, tell your friend's - With PoW (without Asic's)/PoS Hybrid-System everyone can mine ORB with general purpose pc-hardware. The PoS (Proof of Stake) generation features very low energy consumption. Green Stake over PoS

I can't understand what's happening.
1. I transferred my NRS from Cryptsy to local wallet yesterday.
2. Snapshot was taken.
3. Now I can transfer my "old" NRS back to Cryptsy and sell them to poor people who don't know about NRS+NRB merge?
4. I will recieve some "new" NRS when the new blockchain will be started?
...
PROFIT?!

It seems to me the nrs price was some what artificially inflated to give an edge to nrs holders in this transfer.

I noticed as well,  we'll be using the price snapshot along with market data so we should see viable rates.

ding ding ding!

Barwizi is manipulating the whole thing.

He is running a long time scam.

He even stole (he said he turned it into "donations" in the latest newsletter) my and Koonta's BTC from the General Fund holdings, because we exposed what he was doing.

I asked for a refund but instead he decided to steal the BTC.

Don't trust him.

1) what does Barwizi gain from manipulating this? Please state your reasons clearly so we can see if you have a point or this is more of your FUD.

see above question, baseless accusations are treated as FUD and unless you can prove even just slightly what you are saying, i may have to moderate your posts (i'd rather not), free speech is encouraged, libel is not.

Let us review that,

He IMO did not steal. He acted in the best interests of GF members by removing you. And your "donation" became such after you in cahoots with Koontas sought to discredit Barwizi and the group. Honestly, after all the negative posts you've made against him and against this group, do you still feel you should be treated as past of something you have tried (and failed) to destroy? IMO you both ceased to be GF shareholders the moment you started to intentionally and actively devalue the shares.

I think it is unfair that you first devalue everyone's shares, then move to ask for a refund, wow.

Your ill fated attempt at calling him out and discrediting him ended with Koontas locking the the thread after some interesting facts were revealed, also i note that in the same thread a quick accounting was throw in which you all conveniently ignored.  Which left you exposed as FUDsters and lacking any evidence to support your claims.

My advice to you is simple, 1 , Get some facts before you make accusations, when the time comes to back them up and you are empty handed,   your reputation suffers . 2) Meet with some GF shareholders and ask for support, if they feel sorry for you they may convince Barwizi. Else wise , spamming this thread is a bad idea and will not help you in any way.

He even stole (he said he turned it into "donations" in the latest newsletter) my and Koonta's BTC from the General Fund holdings, because we exposed what he was doing.

LOL, if you want i can post proof that i tried to buy you out and you ignored my offer. So 1) you would not sell and 2) you were trying to pull the group down . I acted well within my mandate as CEO to cut you off. I am not taking those shares for myself, rather they will be divided among the GF shareholders to mitigate the damage you have done with you lies and spamming.

Why did you guys lock the thread where you tried to call me out? You love posting when i am too busy to respond, the day i do respond, the thread is locked. That says a lot about you and what you are selling.

so it's simple PROOF or GTFO.
