https://github.com/NoirX/NoirShares

You can now download the wallet from the above link

All other advanced features will be added in sometime next week.

Hi Barwizi,

Is this a stable and functioning wallet ? Or is it better to wait untill a definite wallet is available ?

And can you please tell which file the newest wallet is ?
I see alot of documents and I'm not quite sure which one is the latest wallet.

Thank you !

The Windows wallet is labeled release.7z

From my own testing, all current functions work.  However as we have all witnessed , deployment environment is very different. Please confirm your balance.

Current build is 1.0.5

Many understand that they are joining a infantile industry and they are prepared to accept the certain risks that come with the potential rewards.

Others come expecting easy rewards where somebody else does the work and takes the risks for them.
Those things never go together.

So this *GENERAL WARNING* is placed here as a caution to all:

This is an industry under development.
You have a chance to participate in that development.

Its products are highly experimental, immature, and full of bugs.

They are likely to break on you at the worst possible time.
You should not trust them. You should double check everything they do. You should experiment with very small amounts before doing anything big. You should not do anything big. You should realize that what worked yesterday should be double-checked today. You should diligently backup your wallet. You should only use the software I Barwizi tell you to or software that has the Circle  or Noir Certificate.

You could wait until it is perfect before you participate.
But by then the rewards you might get would be reduced by as much as the risks.

The only guarantee is my utmost best efforts. All else falls under I don't know what is going on, but I will try to help category.

Noone is forced to use the code and we are all responsible for our investments. Always weigh your risk vs reward and make sure it's in your bracket.

With that said, happy gaming, mining and trolling.

I am off to work on some new products, I have joined the Circle team and have made a bid for a cooperative project with the Memorycoin team. More to come, stay tuned.

So with that said, how about giving some insight in the books of the NoirGroup General Fund? How many BTC was mined with our equipment up till today?

That information was already provided. The miners were taken offline when I left as I was unsure about my return.

As for your beliefs of me being a scammer I will disband the mining operation effective immediately. Quite disappointed with some people's actions I have decided that it is not worth the trouble. I'll require a vote on liquidation of the assets.

If anyone disagrees , the action is open to a vote.

Also I am modifying the terms of GF members, I followed the advice and desires of some of you which resulted in these bad circumstances.

The following are immediate and not subject to vote.

1) no more officers , that was not as effective as it should have been

2) Unless I expressly say so all projects will be done I collaboration with other groups.

3 ) GF members will receive payments once a month only from NRS , all future projects will have GF allocation only once in the beginning.

4) because I am the only developer and basically a one man team , my salary is drawn directly from GF earnings.

All GF members must note that your payouts are relative to useage of NRS and any future projects, as a result you can't expect anything from me unless there is activity on the chain.

These changes are not reflected in NRS as it is a product from before these changes. The NRS chain still maintains the previous structure and will operate under that management structure.

As of now I am exploring Bitshares toolkit , colored coins and the Circle wallet. All of which will have potential earnings for GF members.

ALL GF MEMBERS MUST PM ME THEIR NEW NRS ADDRESSES. I am still holding NRS that belongs to you and would like to pay it out.

Please note that you are due 34k NRS.

it seems that i cant mine with more than 25%

edit : found it, it needs to make the change in options menu to mine with more than 1 thread(default).

but the mining tab and all its options are bound to that change.

edit 2 : and now, after 30min of mining the client stopped working. Even if i re-open it and hit mining it crashes..

I really don't get how you are able to say that you stop the operation because of me. There were so many GF holders that were happy, so what about them? I am the only one complaining now, so you let me manipulate you? Or is it the other way round?
Are you going to live of the GF money and saying that we have no vote in that? "4) because I am the only developer and basically a one man team , my salary is drawn directly from GF earnings."

I don't have much time, I'll put a node up when I get back on Monday.

I tried to compile it today and soon as I run it I get:

NoirSharesd: main.cpp:3252: bool InitBlockIndex(): Assertion `block.hashMerkleRoot == merklerootGenesisBlock' failed

(This happens if you don't start NoirSharesd in the same folder are the shares.txt and shares2.txt)

So this wallet does work:
https://github.com/NoirX/NoirShares

Specifically:
https://github.com/NoirX/NoirShares/archive/master.zip

In the meantime, if you have a node address please advertise your IP address in here so we can get better connections.

I also want to say that if anyone ever things about getting GF investors who get a vote, it should be a good idea that not only do you send btc, but also have to pass a sanity check first.

Looking at previous hosts of namely one individual on here (no not you frigga), there is a very colorful past with abusive language and intolerance towards other coins, etc. That person never should have been allowed to be a GFunder from the very beginning.

This whole Noirshares experience has taught a lot of people certain things.

With that being said, it looks like the new wallet Barwizi released works and you can mine coins again?  Difficulty is ultra low I bet.

New venture: Your data in an real underground bunker. Interesting. http://tinyurl.com/msm8t3u

Someone forked the chain.

A debug log and a list of peers would do wonders to help figure out the problem thanks.
