We need to see more nodes. Anyone have a node list for Protocol version 60009 (v0.2.2.1-alpha)?

PLS LET'S FOCUS ON THE SERIOUS THINGS.... WALLET v.0.2.2.1 WONT SYNC....

The issue is simply that some users have not updated the the new wallet, i am using remote access to fix the issue but it's taking time, give me an hour to come up with a solution.

"error loading blkindex.dat" when i try to run the new wallet..

1) Check if shares.txt and shares2.txt are in the folder.

2) Did you delete old NRS chain data? Back up wallet and delete old data

3) Is it first run? if so try a second time.

4) Post debug log is all the above are in order.

5) Please use github to report issues.

This was probably because you didn't delete the NoirShares v1 block chain when using NoirShares v2 wallet.

Delete everything except wallet.dat. Then run the application again.

Never mind, a few posts back Barwizi says he is aware of the problem and fixing it.

Create a NoirShares.conf containing those lines and put it in the user/appdata/roaming/NoirShares folder if in win. home/NoirShares in linux I believe.

Doesn't help in this case though, wallet has never synced on 2.2.1 for me. Waiting on a fix from barwizi, heeding the warning that we'd be on our own chain if we continue to sync and mine on previous wallet versions.

In Windows, you have to create a text file named "NoirShares.conf" and put it into
C:\Users\YOURUsername\AppData\Roaming\NoirShares

The conf file (if you want to mine coins with your CPU) will be something like this:

(Before you add this file, close down any open Noirshares 2.0 wallet, put the file, and then restart the Noirshares 2.0 wallet again)

NoirShares.conf file will contain this:

server=1
gen=1
daemon=1
listen=1
rpcuser=YOURUSERNAME
rpcpassword=YOURPASSWORD
maxconnections=35
addnode=8.38.76.74
addnode=70.54.66.159
addnode=189.181.201.75
addnode=207.245.41.195
addnode=184.68.133.150
addnode=192.64.5.200
addnode=107.170.52.105
addnode=41.78.78.2
addnode=54.186.239.68
addnode=91.134.53.161
addnode=192.64.4.13
addnode=24.67.29.246
addnode=207.245.41.195
addnode=107.170.52.105
addnode=68.54.118.59:
addnode=75.83.196.109
addnode=14.20.5.117
addnode=130.204.172.168
addnode=89.151.189.195

Alternatively, if you are using Linux, this file will be in /home/YOURUSERNAME/.NoirShares/NoirShares.conf

We are at block 380 already, with a really easy difficulty. Mining blocks should happen easily.  The longest chain wins, so make sure you get this NoirShares.conf file ready, and join the chain and start mining coins.

It is Alpha code, so there is no guarantee that the coins you mine will be real, but until Barwizi addresses this further, you might as well run the wallet with gen=1 so you are mining coins with your CPU on the longest chain (which is happening right now).

The issue is mainly just that the seednodes were offline, i am setting this up now, sorry for the delay.

edit:- no joy.

my vps provider has really screwed this up.

So, instead, i am uploading a version that allows connections from previous clients. please note that this is a temporary situation until i either get new vps provider or the current one gets their services in order.

Hi all

temp fix( until i get my vps running)

Windows Wallet

for source use the branch franken-code-lotto-voting, use master.

For now, i have decided that lets use the system as it stands. I will use this time to work on the GUI and will push all the changes mid-week , effectively pushing us into the beta phase. By next weekend we will be in production.

I deleted a comment that asked why i was stepping down, i would like to address that.

I am not stepping down from the group, simply i will step down from controlling NRS, if i leave it in someone else's hands i can begin working on Project X full time. If i have to keep jumping between tasks, thn we'll end up with another long wait.

And to answer the next obvious question, yes the NRS and NRB snapshots will be used in Project X, and yes, GF members will have the lion's share in this one.

Full specs will be released once we are in production phase of NRS 2.0
