For some reason when I click Slot on satoshidice noting happens I had other people try it it also does not load for them.

Any one else have trouble getting the slots to just show up?

Are you really inside the Satoshidice site or are you just spamming because you can't even get the site to load. It goes to a blank page, nothing shows up. I have no idea how you are getting any slots to show up

I had multiple people try to run the slot and yes I can getting inside the site I can bet on dice fine.
it's only when I click Satoshi slot the background changes and noting happens.
I tried enabling adobe flash by default on opera and using other browsers noting works

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

how does an investment on this site works? or any other gambling site, but specially this one. what i mean is if a make an investment for how long will i be receiving coins, what is the average time for ROI, anyone with experience in this area??

I used them a few months ago, it was OK but nothing spectacular. I suggest you differentiate your funds over several casinos if you do decide to join but overall, it s not something which s highly profitable anymore.
thanks i will find some other options then to see what i find

How much you earn a day completely depends on the number of users and of course whether they are winning or losing. We can't give you an approximation unfortunately. However, you can check out our stats page to see how previous investors have done at https://www.satoshidice.com/stats/
Satoshi Dice uses a 1.9% house edge and backers get 50% of the house wins or losses. The slot game uses a 3.5% edge. This means that the dice game gives a 0.95% Expected Value (EV) that is shared by the backers, and the Slot Game gives a 1.75% EV to the backers.

Of course there is always a risk of investing in the bankroll. As you can see from the stats a page -  A player won big on the slots. But as you can also see profit has continued to increase since then.

this dice needs more promotion imo, it was better before now needs volumes

They have issues with balances. How much did you deposit?

About ~0.002btc (not much)
Still, I couldn't claim the faucet even before depositing. So there must be some kind of hard limit of only allowing to claim 3-4 times per week?

I have no idea how you guys are even accessing the website. For me it was down for the last few weeks with a few hours of uptime in between.

Basically it redirects to some secret URL hash and then that's it, completely blank page.

No idea why I can't access it.

Please try to edit the secret in the URL to anything and then loading the page. It should take you to a page that will clear your SD cookie. After that you should be able to just type the normal URL satoshidice.com in the browser and it should work.

If that doesn't work, please try to go to the page normally in an incognito window.

There's now a hard limit on the faucet to 4 tries. It's only intended to let you try the game.

Good move, that's good from an investment point of view in my opinion... Stops people making payouts from nothing....

Why you even make it lowered? You need to make sure that both of you and investor sure to get profit. Even if you lowered the house edge, this will be disadvantages through you and investor. And btw you are still in debt right? And you said last time you are investigate every bet that he made before and now you are lowering the house edge, really does not make any sense

We want to lower the dice edge in order to be competitive with other dice sites. By doing so and with the improvements in security and support, we expect to get more wagers that will benefit us, players and the investors. You can see how the recent slot profit has made up for most of the loss from the big win at https://www.satoshidice.com/stats/#slotGameCumulativeProfitSlot

We're running a database operation on the site now and player activity will be frozen for some minutes. Thanks for your patience.

Tomorrow noon GMT there will be a scheduled downtime in order to change the house edge of the Dice game from 1.9% to 0.9%.

We expect the change to not take more than a couple of hours to implement and properly test.

What else can be a good news than lowering of house edge for gamblers. I am sure this is going to attract alot of new players including me. As lower house edge means more probability to win. Smiley

Well at least the developer of the website is finally very active on this thread. Seems that Satoshidice might be back again.

Yes lowering the house edge to 0.9% is nice but this should of been done a long time ago.

Honestly I think with all the mess created for the last 6 months or so the house edge should be 0.1% or 0% to make up for it.

Yes of course huge wagered will advantage you guys but how about if people keep on winning from your site? Does it not affected your bankroll, since many investor not want this thing happened. With this thing, many investor will get out from this investment. But still i dont understand why you doing this? For the popularity of course but in the long term if many people win on your site, this will not good to your site and investors

The last couple of hours we had some issues with the hardware firewall configuration, preventing players from loading all the files needed to run the site. This issue has been fixed now. Sorry about the problems.

We have noticed that the state of the Bitcoin network currently requires transaction fees substantially higher than 100 satoshis per kb in order to get confirmed within the first couple of blocks. We have increased the fee to target 200 satoshis per kb in order to ensure quick withdrawals. If you deposit, please make sure to make sure to have the transaction include a sufficient fee!

https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ is a handy tool to see what fee you should use.

The site is still not loading for me. Just a blank page. I've tried in multiple browsers for a couple hours now.
