the site dosent load, is it just me ?
I'm having problems too, I can login but it says I'm an unregistered user - although I was registered before on the account I'm logging in from. I didn't have any bankroll deposited as I was waiting for an error free period and 2FA before continuing with SD. Maybe that's why. I wonder if anybody else is seeing the same issues.

Yeah something is messed up currently. Please have this fixed. I tried deleting cache, cookies, restarting, trying a different browser, trying a different computer.

I have the same exact problem. I login and show as unregistered. It shows my balance correctly though, but I can't play or move the balance.

It looks like a problem in the javascript in the background because it says
Code:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 502 (Bad Gateway)
when it tries to recover data from the server, which may as well be a symptom of an external attack.

Problem seems solved now. The site shows my real user name and I was able to use my account and withdraw funds.

Yep, all is looking good again for me now - its a shame that the site is still having problems with login and session handling - maybe its too popular =)

this time it was not SatoshiDICE wrong, it was the registrar that was the target.

Is it really the registrars that are getting DDOS? Why would anyone want to go after a registrar, what benefit could they gain from shutting down so many small websites for businesses/etc?

Competing registrars.
or it could be DNS amplification attacks, where the attacker abuses the DNS system to direct traffic at the victim:
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/DNS_Amplification_Attack

Maybe the amplification attacks however I am pretty sure most registrars don't attack each other for competition, it would be highly unprofessional especially in their field. Most of the money they make is from old domains anyways.

if you look in the thread and you'll see that there been problems with long response times, but they have become quicker to respond, guessing you have just been unlucky.

Guys,

I had an old secret link account, and after site's transition to email-login system, I cant access my balance!

I've been doing correspondence with Randian Hero from support for more then 2 months!
He only replied about login issues, but looks like doesnt wanna hear about the money Angry

Has anyone else also lost money that way? w/o even making a bet Shocked

No, all worked well for me. My balance transferred seamlessly into my account. Bettwe this way - at least it stops people from sharing their secret URL on here.

I hope you manage to get your funds released...

The secret url link which saves your bitcoin is never a good idea. First you can easily lose it and second, its very easy for a hacker to look at your cache and try to access it without your permission.

It was a smart move for the SatoshiDice guys to move into a user/password authentication system, I was never confident investing in the site with that link - Not sure how the guys with hunderds of BTC on the bankroll slept at night. Will be even better when they have 2FA enabled as well.

They're working on 2fa implementation, the sooner they get it done the better. almost every sites have them, i don't know why satoshidice still doesn't have it. it'll make users feel more confident when investing.

This user deposited 4 days ago, has still not been credited and there's still been no response from support after repeated emails/pm's!

It's unacceptable for a site with a 3700 bankroll to not answer for 5 days regarding money going missing.

Does anyone know how to contact the owner directly?
