Hi everybody ! (In first I warn you I don't speak English very well ) I bought a ASIC Miner Block Erupter. I had some problems ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1346096.new) Now I'm on CKPool, and I don't understand one thing. If my batch line is : "cgminer -o stratum+tcp://stratum.kano.is:3333 -u [MYPAYOUTADDRESS]_worker -p x" Is it good ? I leave worker like that ? Or I have to create a new worker somewhere ? I created an account on CKPool, but I don't understand where I have to go for do that. But if I just write ---> cgminer -o stratum+tcp://stratum.kano.is:3333 -u [MYPAYOUTADDRESS]_worker -p x <--- I'm gonna earn bitcoin directly in my wallet ? Or I have to do something else ? My miner, is it good ? ---> I'm waiting for your answers, Thanks in advance, Pseudo90 A 333 MHs USB miner will make next to nothing after mining for a year. If difficulty rose at 5% per diff change for 1 year it would make ~0.00028475 BTC i.e. currently about 11c a year (using my calculator http://tradebtc.net/bitcalc.php ) i.e. there's no point mining with it, it's worthless and no one would mine with it for any reason except curiosity. If you paid more than $1 for it, you got ripped off. Meanwhile, on my pool you must find 3x1042 diff shares before difficulty will drop (to no less than 42) 333MHs would expect to take ~13s to fine a single 1 diff share. To find 1x1042 diff share with 333MHs you'd expect to average 3.7Hrs To find 3x1042 diff shares with 333MHs you'd expect to average 11.2Hrs i.e. if you are mining to make BTC you are wasting your time with that USB miner.

OK Restarts coming up for ckpool and ckdb ... in about 15 minutes (it's not changeable since ... I don't expect to change it ever) -- Edit1: ckpool restart done, awaiting a shift summarisation and then I'll restart ckdb -- Edit2: ok, ckdb restart completed also. The table now shows 250 and will show 500 and 1000 when we get that many blocks.

Right now in mining you need at least some gh to make a little bit of$. If you are getting serius about mining, read a little bit on the forum and you will learn whats are the good gear to buy. (Avalon 6- Bitmain S7 ...) Good luck

Hey all, I really need to get lucky and hit for that Avalon or I may be out of mining for BTC. My 2 little S3+'s just aren't paying the electric bill any longer. I hate to have to leave and can't afford to upgrade to an S7. Once those came on-line, my S3+'s became unprofitable to keep running. I will say, "It was a nice run while it lasted, and kano.is is the only place to be." Not sure what I will do yet, but 1TH is like mining for dust now. Thanks kano & ck, it has been an honor, CapnBDL

I would not presume to put words in CapnBDL's post as I'm sure he is quite capable of speaking for himself…I was simply commenting on his actual statement because I would hate to see him step away.

Nobody did such things, hence the term : .....maybe.... meaning not 'definitely', nor 'for sure'... Dictionary definition : adverb 1. perhaps; possibly. "maybe I won't go back" synonyms: perhaps, possibly, conceivably, it could be (that), it is possible (that), for all one knows; More noun 1. a mere possibility or probability. "no ifs, buts, or maybes". I hope that helps explaining to you the meaning of the term I used.. Back to praising the pool.. Thanks Kano.
