I hope nobody is in a hurry to get their 1$ pay-out and is just doing it for fun I would also think it could be fun to point them to cksolo pool and try your luck at the lottery (although highly unlikely). Not funny for me to mine solo with my U2 but if one day I crack a block with my U2 a $1 donation is welcome (lol)

its not much but i just pointed my 4 compac sticks to this pool there hashing away at almost 18GH/s per stick
Welcome to the pool, but I would like to warn you that Kano doesnt pay out "dust" yet... I think its below 0.0001 per block or something like that. so if you dont make more than dust PER block, you wont get paid... kano just a little more above explained me that dust is paid if the amount of dust is worth $1 if you are in a hurry...co-mine with me and i will pay you in advance... i have almost 1.5TH/s on my username i have 6 workers on this pool all pointed to my username

Side note: Today I have been mining at this pool an entire year!
That's awesome. I'm just over two months now. And along with that - block! 1 am now just over a month and have completed my study. I have concluded that this is the most profitable pool by historical records AND my actual results.

Regarding luck, a wise man once said "Bad luck lasts longer", because good luck blocks are always shorter than the bad luck ones. -organofcorti? Keep this in mind when the bad luck strikes.. its all in your head! The hitchhiker’s paradox The setting of the paradox is the following • Cars are passing a point of a road according to a Poisson process. • The mean interval between the cars is 10 min. • A hitchhiker arrives to the raodside point at random instant of time. • What is the mean waiting time W¯ until the next car?
The interarrival times in a Poisson process are exponentially distributed. From the memoryless property of the exponential distribution it follows that the (residual) time to the next arrival has the same Exp(λ) distribution and the expected time is thus
Average Wait = 10 min
This appears paradoxical. Why isn’t the expected time 5 min? Is there something wrong? Answer: No, the expected time is indeed 10 min.
Explanation for the hitchhiker’s paradox In short, the explanation of the paradox lies therein that the hitchhiker’s probability to arrive during a long interarrival interval is greater than during a short interval.
Given the interarrival interval, within that interval the arrival instant of the hitchhiker is uniformly distributed and the expected waiting time is one half of the total duration of the interval. The point is that in the selection by the random instant the long intervals are more frequently represented than the short ones (with a weight proportional to the length of the interval).

Is there any reason why when I browse any thread in the pools section of the forum except for this Kano pool thread my browser shows a green secure lock, verified, etc., but when I browse page 488 of this thread (and no other page) the security reports as unverified / yellow lock? It only happens with viewing this one page of this one thread. Strange.
Same here. Odd. Edit: BLOCK!!!!!
