All due payouts now gone out.

Very late last night I started on making a "simple" change to the luck report while waiting to send a payout.
I guessed I was tired and gave up due to a problem I couldn't for the life of me work out.
(I thought, leave it for the morning, will be obvious then)
... in the morning ... a few hours later ... oh ... OK silly problem fixed Tongue

So yeah payouts were delayed a few hours, but all done now.
Payout processing doesn't take all that long, but I guess when there's 11 of them it takes a little longer ...
Yep a good problem to have Cheesy

Edit: and all 5 payouts are confirmed now also

Hi Chickenfeed,

I'll start by saying your username is definitely suitable for this pool since most here are addicted to "chicken."   Cheesy

As for receiving an email confirmation after creating an account, I'm not sure.  I created an account in 2014.  I cannot remember if their is an email confirmation or not.  Maybe someone else can help you with this.  Kano, may be able to assist you.

Welcome to the pool.

David

I've registered week or to ago and conf. e-mail came quickly.
Check SPAM folders, add kano.is to whitelist and yes as written on kano website, you need this confirmation e-mail.

Maybe one of us creative lot could design a "Come to Kano.is - Block parties every week!" - signature banner.

All kano.is members can use this signature, since many of us also roam around many threads in Bitcointalk.org.

I certainly like that.  It's a great idea!  I am an artist but I wish I knew how to create a signature banner for use in these forums.  My art is done with paint, charcoal, etc...  I have never done art on a computer.  I will be happy to use the signature here on bitcointalk.org if someone were to create one and provide it to others to use here in the forums.

EDIT:  Here is a drawing I've worked on to practice with hair.  Plenty of hair in this photo I'm drawing.  Her name is Joan Osborne.  It will look just like her when I'm finished with it.  http://imgur.com/l3qm8Y7

What program can I use [Anyone] to create a signature banner for us to use?  Are the tools for creating a signature banner built within bitcointalk.org or is it better to use a particular graphic design program to upload to bitcointalk?  If so, what graphic design program does someone recommend for my Mac?  I do have the 12.9 inch iPad Pro as well.  I suppose I could buy the pen for it ($100.00 USD) to draw something on a graphic design program made for the iPad Pro.  I would not use it without the approval of Kano and CK of course.
Oh I didn't see the extra ...
For graphics work I always use The Gimp
Most people on windows use Photoshop and get it by pirating it coz it's very expensive Tongue
The Gimp is on linux and windows and mac and is (of course) free.
https://www.gimp.org/
Also, The Gimp was better than Photoshop in it's early years when, you could say, they first competed, but Photoshop being a commercial program has got a lot more options for working with an image and got ahead in that regard.

That pic of yours is indeed extremely impressive.
... and the bit I look at the most is the hair and think how long that must have taken Smiley

CG drawing is a very different creature.
My ones are done by first doing the outline (vectoring) of the objects then colouring and shading and touching up and adding effects ... in graphic layers.
... and you can cheat ... undo Cheesy

Though, that's not all that different in concept to how one would normally draw a picture, work out scales with basic curves and lines and then go into details.
But vectoring it on a computer is indeed very different.
I do have a graphics tablet but only once ever tried to use it.
The mouse wins for me.

But whatever you find easiest is of course best - vector drawing like I've done is so different that it takes quite a while to work out how to do it.

I did about one of those pics per week for a couple of years and got better as time went on.
Here's a simple one - this is where I 'extracted' the green eye from for the top left on the web site.
I liked drawing anime eyes Smiley
http://kano-kun.net/a/Aki-chanCh5Pg122.png
The basics of how I start is like this:
http://kano-kun.net/a/Aki-chanCh5Pg122-Lines.jpg
Vectored over an original (usually crappy scan quality due to the low quality of some manga paper) B&W manga image.

Heh ... actually, that's not quite how it works Cheesy
It doesn't send out an email until you change anything.
When you first login, it has a message at the top saying to add a payout address.
When you set the payout address you'll get an email.
Any time you change anything important, you get an email.

A CKDB restart in about 35 minutes when the next shift summary occurs (about 12:20 UTC)
No miners will be affected.
Web site/api has lotsa '?' for about 10 minutes.

This is just a restart as is needed after a while with the version that I am still running.
Didn't get much time to look into the sequence issue in the new code, today.
Will do that again tomorrow.
Heh deja-vu?

Block Smiley So I'll have to wait at least another 10 minutes for the block shift to summarise.

Edit: Restart complete

I really think you should schedule 6-10 restarts a day.

Hi guys,
I have an S3 that solved a block at the yesterday party.
The luck color is dark red at the blocks page in kano's statistics.
Could someone explain me what does it mean ?

look at the block page. it shows what the colors men.

green = good luck, better then average

black = average. normal luck

red = bad luck, block took longer then expected to solve.
