Had a major netowrk dropout to the main server there for a few minutes roughly 07:01 - 07:06 UTC All OK again.
... and another outage again from 07:45 - 07:53 In both cases it's not dropping all connections, but about 1/3 of miners. I'm having difficulty contacting support at the datacentre also - I guess they're having the same problems in general. I must be in that 1/3 because my hash graph did a nose-dive a little while ago cause my miners are still hashing away ~50TH. It has regained its previous level now. Time for some back-to-back-to-back action!

Hi, can anybody tell me how much time kano.is take for the payment as its been 2nd day i haven't received any payouts my BTC wallet which is used for mining at pool is 16Nsyk5j22E6hp6dTiLssonk8JfRANDqvu while user i used is sammad
Block +101 confirms + our next block after = zero transaction fee payout Didn't get it please elaborate a little thanks in advance A block does get credited to the pool until it has 101 confirms. Then Kano sets up the payout transaction to be included in the next block we find. That way the pool is not paying for the transaction fee, since it is included in our own block. So we find a block then after 101 confirms the block gets paid to the pool. Then we need to wait until we find another block and you will get your payment.

Sooo... I'm thinking of switching to CKPool, but there's a bit I'm ignorant of. Firstly, I've been mining with F2Pool for around a year and a half now; I used to get $1 a day with a 440GH/s Antminer S3 when the BTC value was trapped in the ($)200s. Now I get about 40-60 cents every 4 days when the BTC value fluctuates between $600 and $700. No idea what happened there. So for CKPool, here's a few things I'd like to know before I switch... - From what I've gathered about payouts, after 101 block confirmations the first time you begin mining, you don't get anything. But after 101 more, you begin earning due to the zero transfer fee perk. Is this right? - What exactly makes this pool better than Antpool and f2Pool beside the low fee? Frankly, I haven't a clue which is best for me. I'd like to stick to one mining pool that's reliable with my one Antminer. - Keeping my GH/s in mind, how much would I be earning? - With the Antminer S3, would it be advantageous for me to use more than one miner or just one here? Does it even matter? - How long does it take on average for the 101 blocks to be confirmed? - I looked on the site and saw a table of Luck stats. It says only 7 blocks were mined this month, which is 'worse luck'. What does Luck mean for the miners? I assume the 'worse luck' this month doesn't matter since the month just began. Thanks in advance! I'd really like to start earning again. ~Nei

But after 101 more, you begin earning due to the zero transfer fee perk. Is this right? => after 101 confirmations the block is matured. When the next block is found on this pool, the previous one is paid. - What exactly makes this pool better than Antpool and f2Pool beside the low fee? Frankly, I haven't a clue which is best for me. I'd like to stick to one mining pool that's reliable with my one Antminer. => you know what is happening, with other large pools, you don't. And here, block fees are distributed, not kept by the pool. - Keeping my GH/s in mind, how much would I be earning? per block: 12BTC/pool Ghs x your Ghs (roughly) - With the Antminer S3, would it be advantageous for me to use more than one miner or just one here? Does it even matter? Since you just have 1 miner.... The more shares you produce, the more you earn. I have 1 S7 and between 2 and 4 S5 on this pool. (depending if I powered them up or not) - How long does it take on average for the 101 blocks to be confirmed? depends.. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Confirmation- I looked on the site and saw a table of Luck stats. It says only 7 blocks were mined this month, which is 'worse luck'. What does Luck mean for the miners? I assume the 'worse luck' this month doesn't matter since the month just began. - given the pool Ths and the current diffifulty we're expected to have found 11 blocks so far. We found 7. last month we found 82 with an expectation of 79. This is BTC. this is luck/probabilities. Thanks in advance! I'd really like to start earning again. ~Nei [/quote]

I'm averaging approx $1/day with my one S3 & one S5 running here, both under-clocked for a total of approx 1.3th My estimate is that you would earn approx $0.34/day. Please keep in mind that unless you have free electricity, you will be losing money overall (as I am) because the cost to power the miners is more than they earn. I'm mining for fun and for the comraderie of the cool people on this forum. This is the best pool hands down, but the luck will fluctuate (true for every pool) so if you decide to mine here don't try to measure your performance after just 2 or 3 days. You need to stay for a full month. Many people run away when we have a couple of bad days in a row and then they come back when they see the luck is good again - that is a terrible strategy and they would do much better if they stopped pool hopping and just stayed here. Good luck no matter what your decision.

Hey, Nei...welcome. I think the others have done well in explaining stuff. I've run an S2 and six S3s for some time, but I have free power on those. My other machines are in Labrador. You'll do well here. I originally mined with Slush and another unnamed group. I do better here, and it's a lot more transparent. Sorry for the OT, Kano... EDIT: Three of those S3s are currently running, trying to fill in for a down A6. They're useful as backups that way.

My home machines are on the main node; the Labrador machines are also. No issues here. Could be a local network/ISP issue.
