So do I have this right that we are something like 12 blocks below expected in something like 10 days? I know 10 days is a small window but this is starting to look to me like we need to take a look at the maths on the likelihood of it.
I think it's 15.92 blocks expected and 12 blocks hit...3.92 blocks behind... And I got my first A7 online! Actually, you are forgetting last month... the last 10 days we hit 13 blocks... we need around 2,5 block per day... so that's 25-13 is yeah... 12 blocks below expected... Although time is not the best measure, best is to add all the diffs... So yeah, we need around 3,5 bocks per day to get in the greens. I don't see this year coming out of the red without one of those green streaks that seem to have been there in the past. Okay, I'm having a hard time keeping up. We started out talking about this month, you add in last month at first and then finished with the whole year. If we look at data on hand, we have 1047 blocks with 1033.28 expected since the beginning of March. That is 13.72 blocks over expected for 101% Luck. Since the beginning of the year we are around 102.5% PPS so it's a pretty good chance that we will finish the year with a positive return. Not that that will influence the future at all but for now it works. Now if you started in the middle of the year somewhere, your results will be lower of course...

New batch of 13.5 s9 for sale at bitmain. Hurry And now they are gone like it never happened. No batch number to speak of or announcement or anything. I think that may be the last we see of the S9 for now. They may be gone for good. In the end it might be a good thing if Bitmain cuts off sales for six months to a year like they did at the end of the S5. It would keep the diff from spiking again, benefiting everyone with gear in hand right now.

When I say businesses, I mean miners. You can't just sit back and have the same amount of miners for the rest of the life of your business. If you are serious about your business you will grow it. If not, it will just become a hobby.

Btw bitmain crushed sptech in that price war.

Btw bitmain crushed sptech in that price war. Coins crashed after the hack. Not because of the end of life span of the s-5 and sp20 price drop. Sptech was in a bad business position at the time of the bitcoin crash "hack". Plain and simple. They were unable to provide a better (newer) product due to pocketing all the cash when it was flowing in.

Well yep certainly fewer blocks than we want so far this month. Stating the obvious ... Last month was ok up to the 2nd last block, but ended with a 630% block so yep that made the month overall a bit below PPS mining pool rewards. I bolded that coz in fact compared to fupool, it was only 1.65% lower and only the second time this year, a month has been lower that fupool. Last time was August that was only 0.16% lower than their PPS. So I guess it's time for more anime sacrifices ... gonna run out of characters to sacrifice at this rate Next from the magical girl deathmatch is Minael She's the twin 'angel' of Yunael (who got taken out a few episodes ago) Maybe offering 'angel' sacrifices to the block Gods will help?

For anyone who might notice I'm doing a ckpool restart in about 10 minutes (at 11:00 UTC) Nothing major, but I need to switch around some bitcoind settings and restarting ckpool is the cleanest method to do it. Everyone mining on the pool should just see a cgminer reconnect and nothing more. If your miners can't handle a reconnect they'll failover then back.

This time everything went smoothly, the difficulty in the miners changed but the hash is kept as it is necessary. 11 days without a restart miners (DE Node) Good job Kano. Thank you! s7 - GH/S(avg) 5,310.90 - Elapsed 10d1h43m9s

my 2 S5 and my S7 are back on the pool after nearly 2 weeks being down. They're nicely located in a DC where I don't pay for power, but where internet access is not so good and it was down for 2 weeks. (just for the miners, not the rest of the DC) I got someone to restart the router which was frozen depsite being restarted every 24h automatically...

I'm not usually one to complain, but this bad luck is getting old. I'm so grumpy about it I can't even come up with a rhyme. Mine on.

Sorry, I meant to say that the last 10 days was also a part in last month... And with the year i meant the last part of 2016. Sorry And Sadly I started mining here on the 20th of november because I didn't want to use the Chinese pools anymore after learning more about the influence of them in the network. But this luck is killing me, and I had to point most of my miners elsewhere... Running 3 S7's and one S4... still have one S7 here hoping for a green streak.

Pps pay per day is pretty much equal to two blocks per day here at kano. As long as we are averaging more than 60 block a month (At our current pool hash rate). We are making more money than at any pps pool. And last I checked. We averaged 2.3333333 last month.

Okay, so i have around 17 TH, when i mined at F2Pool it gave me 0,0155BTC per day... at 17TH i'm getting around 0.0065BTC per block from CKpool. So, it would need 2,5 blocks per day to be the same. But since i started mining, we hit less than 2 blocks per day. I get your point and yes CK-pool is better, but atm, i'm making more money elsewhere

We are currently having badluck so yes, you won't earn as mush as you would with the other pool assuming they are achieving 100% luck. We are still over 100% PPS since the start of the year but we are having bad luck since a few months which is completely normal. If you cannot handle luck, mine at the biggest pool and enjoy your steady earning.

F2Pool pays every day, but takes a 4.5% commission AntPool pays each day (pps and pplns seek + - 100% PPS), but the percentage is taken 1.5% commission Kano pay at finding block, pplns and should be considered 5nd, 0.9% commission takes pool
Many pools are working on pplns and all have good and bad days) understands this. the larger the hash for the pool, the faster the days pass)

If you are looking at this month only: We have found 12 blocks this month and are 9/31 or 29% through the month. 29% of 66 = 19.14, so 19.14 - 12 = 7.14 blocks behind, but we still have 71% of the month left. If you wait until luck improves to mine here then your 5ND will not be fully ramped up and when you will not get the benefits of the luck streak. The past luck does not guarantee future luck, but This pool has consistently shown that if you are going to "set it and forget it" this is the place to do it and maximize the BTC received. The biggest thing to think about "Don't Look At How Much Per Day!" Instead look at how much per month or 100 days or year. Here is a great thread about this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1338693.0
