[snip]
130+% feels like forever
Wait till you have a 600+ block and it takes you three weeks of sub 100% blocks to make up for it.
I was here for the Jan-Feb 600% block of death, so, yeah, I know the feeling.

It was my first ramped up block, in fact, and I think I weathered it quite nicely.

Just bought an s9 last night so it should come next week
Anyone know how much louder it is compaired to lets say an l3+ ( i know its ltc miner) or avalon 741?
As my 741 is a part time miner it mines only when im at work due to free electric but i want to mine my new s9 at home 24/7 along with my l3+
Also it nice to c the pools th go up even with the price of btc falling Smiley

S9 is louder. roughly 10 decibels. More importantly it's hotter. Way hotter. Why is it nice to see the TH go up with price going down? You don't realize that this is a death nell? If that trend continues (and it will) you won't be mining anywhere.

Hi, whats about asic boost on kano?

Until someone has an ASICBOOST miner, like a DragonMint, that Kano can see how it hashes and test the code, it won't be supported. If mine ships on time I'll let him use it, or if someone gets one sooner, they can.

That's great; however, we might want to...

1) Update the LinkedIn post's title to 80+PHs, and
2) Link it directly to Kano's first post instead of just to this thread in general (i.e. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.msg8895603#msg8895603). Then, even if you have posts sorting descending, it will still go to his announcement about it.

By the way, am I the only one weird enough to sort posts descending like an email chain? Huh

Mine on! More blocks today, please...

Good to be back...now, if we can just get the universe to bump spot up a bit again...every time my Core accumulates enough at current spot to cover my upcoming quarterly billing, spot goes down, and I need another block or two to get back to "even." That will get better, of course, as I get ramped up (another week or so). No worries.

I was just sympathizing with Overcon's earlier lament. The good part was that, although I'd had to move, my 5Nd here gave me two more partial block payouts (good ones) about a week to 10 days after I moved...too late to solve my problem at that moment, but a nice support.

Re the spot situation...the US SEC announced that they have "several" investigations ongoing re ICOs...and most coins (esp. Ether) took a hit, including BTC, as a knee-jerk reaction. BTC itself is not a target, but rather the plethora of altcoins.

It's a good day in paradise. Mine on.  Kiss

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

the system continues to attack crypto because it completely undermines there power. the SEC crap is an excusse to try to put a public blemish on all coins to cause emotional tradeing and put bitcoin into the toilet. buy hold mine "for the people"
