210 th / s  now mate

The hashrate is the lowest I've seen in a while, 82TH!

Other merged mined coins like unobtainium only have about 200TH atm.

We should push to be added onto coinwarz.
We have one of the biggest hash rates of alt coins but no sign of being added.

I think it's the high difficulty

It'd be cool too see a difficulty chart, I'll look into building one.

Cool tweet from a follower!

Really digging @Crowncoin1. Glad I added it to p2pool.sawilson.org:9332 merged mining.

Iv been watching the hash rate closely, shouldn't current difficulty have come down by now?

It's been sitting around 3.3million for nerly 2 weeks.

I added the red line to indicate current hashrates (Guess work but its not far wrong)

Shouldnt it look more like this?

The difficulty is based on number of blocks, so if the hashrate drops, it takes longer for the next difficulty adjustment to happen.

Ahhh I see. Yes I notice that blocks are sparse. Between 1-10 minutes. Thanks domob

Also I used your brilliant time stamping tool yesterday for a very important document, works a treat!

Nice to hear that!  I've used timestamping myself a lot over the past years - can be handy for a lot of things.

Am I right in saying the difficulty is due to change?
It looks like it could be today or tomorrow.

It'll be interesting to see what kind of hashrate we bring in the next time difficulty corrects

CRW up for delisting again. It will have to break volume to get passed this round.

Yep, i noticed this the other day.

We may have to rely on yobit for future trading. But thats cool, once crowncoin pulls more interest in ccex will snap us back up

Progress update

I'v been in contact with a developer of another coin. He's interested in implementing a basic form of Masternodes
for Crowncoin. This could be a great step for CRW and add long term stability to the network.

Why I think we need "Basic Masternodes"

Basic Masternodes are like Dash Masternodes but without coin mixing and transaction locking, basically just paid full nodes.
Miners and "Basic Masternodes" get a split of coinbase reward, thats it.

This hopefully will add many more full nodes to the network and improve security.

However, a bounty must be paid and funds must be raised by the community.

If Crowncoin's knights are willing to back this project, then please contact me

The attempted manipulation of the market by certain individual/s has resulted in many/most/all potential CRW traders moving on, hence the massive price drop. The only traders left are the ones responsible who are now having to buy/sell their own orders in order to keep CRW from being delisted due to inactivity.

if Crowncoin devs put half as much effort into marketing the coin instead of trying to control the exchange price - CRW would flourish.

The marketcap for Crowncoin is about $3000-$5000, it only takes a $100 to swing the market 300%/400%.

If your talking about the high volume the other day, yes that was one of our team buying and selling.
But that was only 20 minuets of trading to specifically stay on ccex.

The market went down because one of the team left, sold their coins and crashed the market.

Apart from all that, we have a few ideas that we're trying to get implemented.

This guy seems to have no idea what is he talking about. As mentioned here - the trading was only made to keep the coin on ccex. And - none of the knights have sold any coins and will not sell any coins anytime soon. First in last out! The selling is done by traders who dont care at all about this coin.

Marketing - sure we need some help here - any ideas jow to spread this around the btc community?
